Re: Vedanta and Praise on the Govinda Bhashya

Nityananda! Gauranga! Hare Krishna! Jaya Shri Guru Parampara! Pranams!   Dear Srinath, This is a sublime realization about Govinda Bhashya.  I also hope that Shri Govinda Bhashya is known in the world more and more.

Unfortunately as the influence of Kali Yuga increases, fewer and fewer people are interested in the highly philosophical scriptures like the great Govinda Bhashya which was dictated to Shrila Baladeva Vidyaabhushana by Lord Govinda Himself due to the causless mercy of his beloved Gurudeva Shrila Vishvanaatha Chakravarti Thakura. People become more interested in the books which explain philosophy with example or stories. Examples or stories or pastimes relating to spiritual truths capture and captivate their dull minds and hearts much faster than those with only philosophy because the even though we have so many advanced gadgets nowadays, the level of intelligence has tremendously decreases over the four yugas. That is why the common man never desires to read great philosophical treatises like the Govinda Bhashya. Nor can they maintain their focus or attention even if they try to read it because of the dulled mind due to excessive sense-gratification. It is only after a certain degree of purification attained by Naama Bhajana, can we read and understand the deep secrets of Govinda Bhashya.
