Re: Inner Meaning of Guruji's Prayer

Dear Hadai, Nityaananda! Gauraanga! Hare Krishna!  I have already explained this earlier. Even though one may be fully transcendental to the miseries of this material world and situated even on the platform of Prema Bhakti while living in this material world, we still need eternal residence in the spiritual world of Goloka to continuously render devotional service to Lord Gaura Krishna in the seven advanced stages of Prema Bhakti like pranaya (love that avoids respect), sneha (melting of the heart), mana (hidingof love by crooked means), raga  (attachment), anuraga (further attachment), bhava (ecstacy) and maha-bhava (great ecstacy), because the environment of the aprakrita unmanifested Goloka is fully conducive for service in the ashta kaliya lilaa or the eight-fold daily pastimes of the Lord which are eternally being performed there. So simply becoming a transcendental resident of this material world is not enough, one should intensely endeavor to go to Goloka, the topmost spiritual planet, in order to render the highest uninterrupted service to the Lord. I am not asking my Shrila Parama Gurudeva for simply liberation from material bondage. No more births means that I want to attain the Lord's nitya-lilaa in Goloka, which is the highest loving association one can possibly desire to attain in this creation.

Daaso'smi, BR Sadhu Swami Gaurangapada.
