Lord Nrsimhadeva - destroyer of material desires

Nityananda Gauranga Hare Krsna

Here is verse from Srimad Bhagavatam 5.18.8.

Om namo bhagavate narasimhaya namas tejas tejase avir avirbhava
vajra nakha vajra damstra karmasayan randhaya randhaya tamo grasa grasa
om svaha abhayam abhayam atmani bhuyistha om ksraum

Translation:

"I offer my respectful obeisances unto Lord Narasimhaadeva, the source of all power. O my Lord who possesses nails and teeth just like thunderbolts, kindly vanquish our demonlike desires for fruitive activity in this material world. Please appear in our hearts and drive away our ignorance so that by Your mercy we may become fearless in the struggle for existence in this material world."

Srilla Prabhupada explains in Purport: "Any devotee aspiring to be free of material desires should offer his respectful prayers to Narasimhadeva as Prahlada Maharaja did in this verse."

So let us pray to Lord Nrsimhadeva to free our hearth from material desires so that we may eternaly be engaged in chanting Nityananda Gauranga and Hare Krsna!

Going to Vraj

"Birth after birth we seek love, by unconditional mercy the most fallen find home is the heart" (Nava Gauranga dasa)

"Freedom of choice is the very foundation of love" (Nava Gauranga dasa)

"Vraj is the land of cows, Vraj means to go...." (Nava Gauranga dasa)

"If I choose to live in Vraj, all is perfect and complete" (Nava Gauranga dasa)

"The key to the inner chamber of my lover is the Holy Name" (Nava Gauranga dasa)

"The inner chamber of the heart is truth, satisfying, cooling, and saturated with the bliss of love" (Nava Gauranga dasa)

"Always choose love and chant the Holy Name, showing no disrespect to others, then Sri Gauranga will show himself in all beatitude" (Nava Gauranga dasa)

Re: Gaura Naam for perfected as well as conditioned

Nityananda! Gauranga! Hare Krishna! Thanks all of You. It is only by Your precious association and blessings that one can somehow enter into the confidential truths of Nityananda Gauranga Naam.

i just want to add here the nectarean verse from Shri Chaitanya Chandramrita which i was reffering to in my article:

yatha yatha gaura-padaravinde
vindeta bhaktim krita-punya-rasih
tatha tathotsarpati hridy akasmat
radha-padambhoja-sudhamsu-rasih (88)

Verse 88: As much as an elevated person with unlimited pious deeds attains a devotional relationship to the Holy Name and Lotus Feet of Lord Gauranga Mahaprabhu, to that extent and proportion the supreme ocean of nectar from the Holy Name and Lotus Feet of Shrimati Radharani spontaneously and effortlessly floods his or her heart.

Gauraaaaaaaanga!

Your servant,
Matus
