Who is Lord Jagannath ?

Dear Guruji and devotees,

Nityananda ! Gauranga ! Hare Krishna !

Recently I read how Lord Krishna became Lord Jagannath. After hearing about the pasttimes of Vrindavan from the queens in Dwarka Lord Krishna's ecstatic form became Lord Jagannath. Then I read that Lord Gauranga went to Jagannath Puri to meet Lord Jagannath as He is in the mood of Radharani. I am quite confused about this. Can someone please throw light whether Lord Jagannath is Lord Krishna or He is Lord Gauranga ( i.e Radha+Krishna ).
