An Introduction

Respected Swamiji and All devotees,

Nityananda! Gauranga! Hare Krishna!
Jaya Visnupada Srila Prabhupada!
Jaya Swami Gaurangpada!
All glories to the Guru Parampara!
All glories to the Vaisnavas!

First of all I would like to intorduce myself to this forum. My name is Srinath. I was introduced to the sublime glories of devotion to the Supreme Lordships, the Personalities of Godhead, Lord Nityananda and Lord Caitanya by the mercy of Hadai Nityananda Dasa Prabhu, to whom I am eternally indebted to life after life. Indeed that was the second time I practically realised the mercy of the Vaisnavas - the first being when I first picked up an old copy of the Bhagavad Gita as It is by Srila Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada when I was 14. It was a turning point in my life where I was first introduced to Krishna Bhakti itself. The Bhagavad Gita attracted me like a magnet and since then I feel the Lord and the spiritual masters have been showering unlimited mercy on this most vile and wretched fellow who had absolutely no spiritual qualifications. Before that day I led the life of the usual teenager, blissfully unaware of this most rare opportunity which comes after an incalculable time of acquiring spiritual sukrti. I have done so many sinful activities, so many worng things in my lifetime --  all of which I feel very ashamed to even recollect now. On top of it I was proud of all my so called qualifications and had the Lord and the vaisnavas not decided to rescue me at 14, I do not know what would have happened to me. While many people are sinful because of excessive material delusion, I am a worthless rascal who committed so many sins and offences even after taking to chanting of the Lord's name.

By the time I had begun to go through Srimad Bhagavatam my head and heart had become firmly cemented in Srila Prabhupada and the Gaudiya Vaisnava sampradaya. But however my chanting of Hare Krishna was only an exercise in offenses -- it was completely irregular and because of lack of any advancement I found it difficult to chant even one round a week. Whenever I got time I only wasted it. Without any devotee to have personal contact with it was impossible for any progress to be done because of all my offenses. When I came to college last year, the stress and an unplanned and haphazard approach had me completely burnt out, unable to find any respite and I was literally crying for relief.

Meanwhile I tried to study more and more of Srila Prabhupada's writings, having gone through his Vedabase almost one complete time I came across the interesting verse in the CC emphasising the chanting of the Holy names of Lord Gauranga and Nityananda. It was quite clear that their names were free from the offenses I was committing. But I thought it meant only the pancha tattva mantra and for a while I tried to chant it a hundred times or so before chanting Hare Krishna, but it was all in bits and pieces. I had all the theory, but no will or desire to discipline myself and practice. But the Lord took mercy for that.

I meanwhile tried to know all about the ISKCON and other devotees of the Gaudiya Vaisnava sampradaya. But that search over the internet was only yielding bitter results. So many cases of people falling down, so much quarrel and argument -- to the point of fanaticism in so many forums. For every useful link I got there were hundreds of useless ones - "Is A better or B? What does A have to say about B? B is this ... A is that....who are you to say this or that? Beware ..." Only online WAR. It was so frustrating that it tested my very faith In Krishna consciousness. I almost lost all hope thinking that there were no more pure devotees on this planet.

Then an idea struck me by the grace of Lord Nityananda as I know it now and I searched for Pure devotees in google. It was only a few minutes before it brought me to Hadai Nityananda Dasa Prabhu's www.be-pure.info site. I just went through it once and it was as if I found what I was really looking for. It all seemed wonderful to read about the glories of the mantrarajas. I was convinced that here was a pure devotee who would show me the way out.

First I tried to chant the mantrarajas for a while as advised before starting the maha-mantra. And what a phenomenal difference there was!!
For the first time, chanting began to feel very interesting and it was as if some big block had been moved away and I had been given a rocket to travel along. My chanting began to improve and I began to miss it if I didn't chant. Then I contacted Hadai Nityananda Dasa Prabhu and introduced myself to him following which I asked a few questions about why so many people objected to the mantrarajas when the proof was staring right in front of their faces. Out of his mercy he took quite an interest in replying all his answers to what he claimed where my perfect questions. I was also very surprised to see Swamiji himself add his comments to them particularly to the question on why some people claimed it was all illusion and also regarding the instructions in the books. I felt that was when they actually showed their mercy by actually responding to some queries.

Although my chanting was still unsteady, it was now more of a rarer day I didn't chant. I kept in touch with Hadai Nityananda Dasa Prabhu very regularly and he guided me in and out right from the smallest items to extraordinarily wonderful aspects of chanting. I learnt how to engage all senses in the Lord's service and within a short time I was having some extraordinary realisations of my own -- which i will try to convey in subsequent posts -- Never had I felt that chanting could be so sublime as what I was actually seeing. Chanting rounds was no longer a chore. Meanwhile all my distress and stress began to vanish and this time I could tackle things easily -- all by the grace of the Lord.

I am telling you as I write this that there were many occasions in the last few months which would have ensured that I would have never ever seen the light of today to write this letter. But the Lord saved me in everything and I always got away without a scratch -- only staring into the face of certain death moments before -- but when I look back I see the presence of Lord Caitanya and Lord Nityananda in everything and now with your mercy and blessings I feel I can fully surrender myself to the guru and the Lord putting my ego out of the way to make more advancement in devotional service.

Recently a tense situation has been created where I recognize now that I have been given time by Lord Nityananda and Gauranga to make as much advancement as I can as the recent course of events indicate that the future is far more serious than what I can put in words. Right now it is my vacation and I have a lot of time to chant by the Lord's mercy. Because of all your mercy only I now feel that in this vacation I can comfortably chant 32+32+32 (Nityananda + Gauranga + Hare Krishna rounds) in a day and I feel that I should try for 64+64+64 before this vacation gets over. My chanting of Hare Krishna became very sweet after I introduced the chanting of the mantrarajas and I could sometimes actually a glimpse of the real beauty of my Radha Krishna and Nityananda Gauranga deities while looking at them in the form of their pictures and actually see that the Lord was present right there. On one rare occasion I cried out before the Lord begging for him to forgive me while telling him all that I had done and tried to hide.

I wish to end talking more about myself at this point as I feel it might make me take all this extremely extremely insignificant work as some kind of big leap and let things go to my head. I would rather love to talk about the mercy of the mantrarajas and the Vaisnavas which we can keep doing for eternity. Whenever I read the caitanya Caritamrta or the Caitanya Bhagavatha I realise that all that I could ever do in a lifetime would be absolutely nothing compared to what the real devotees of the Lord can do in a split second. There is no room for arrogance or a sense of fulfilment here and I only pray for all your mercy that I never forget how wretched and insignificant I am and that it is only all your mercy that is the real cause of my advancement and not myself, never myself. I am only responsible for whatever I do wrong in my service because that is when I fall into the delusion of taking things in my own hands -- and then realising painfully how unqualified I really am -- by the mercy of the Lord again.

I would like to thank you Swamiji for your great uncompromising efforts in making the merciful mantrarajas available to the fallen people of this age. Along the way I would like to mention that a few friends joined me and have also received the mercy of the Vaisnavas and are making very sincere efforts to chant the mantrarajas. Some of my family members have accepted this as well. Really I see that the only thing that is needed to accept the mantrarajas is a bit of humility and accepting that there are many things beyond us, along with an unbiased mentality.

The Nitaai Veda Book is a priceless jewel which I can term one of the greatest achievements in compilation and assembly of the widely scattered literatures on devotional service of our glorious sampradaya. While offering all my obeisances to all the acaryas of the sampradaya, I would like to mention a few in particular.....

All glories to Srila Bhaktivinode Thakura, Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura and Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada! These three acaryas have done what is beyond all words to describe -- taking genuine Vaisnava dharma from almost near non-existence on this planet to a situation where it is clear that it will engulf the whole world as Bhaktivinode thakura predicted it would --- while at the same time vanquishing all inauspicious and false philosophies opposed to the path of genuine bhakti!

All glories to Srila Bhaktishastri Paramapada Maharaja! He was the epitome of humility whom I take along with namacharya Haridasa Thakura as my role models in that direction! He was the one who gave the order to Swamiji to preach what he is doing now without which all of us would have never even known the mantrarajas!

All glories to Narottama Dasa Thakura who went about openly asking everyone to chant the names of Lord Nityananda and Lord Gauranga! In very simple language he expressed the entire knowledge of our sampradaya to the common man! His prayers were personally very inspiring for me........

Then I must thank Swamiji for he personally clarified some doubts which were big stumbling blocks on my path! It was very unprecedented and it just told me how little I know about the unlimited mercy of a pure Vaisnava.

I must thank Hadai Nityananda Dasa Prabhu for it is he who has guided me in every aspect of my devotion throughout. If i am anything now, it is all due to him. I cannot find any words to express his mercy on this fallen soul. This very same letter has also been inspired only by him as he urged me get all of your association.

I thank all the other acaryas of our sampradaya too. I have not talked about every one as it would make it too voluminous beyond measure to ever reach the limit of their glories. So please forgive me for my inability

I must thank the Supreme Lordships, the Personalities of Godhead Sri Radha Krishna and Nityananda-Gauranga again and again for all their mercy on this most fallen fool and again and again giving wonderful opportunities to come up in devotional service.

I must paritcularly offer very grateful obeisances to the Supreme Personality of Godhead, The most merciful incarnation, the origin of the material and spiritual worlds, one who is without beginning, middle or end, the full extent of whose quality of mercy is not possible for anyone to fully understand, who is sakshat Mula Sankarsana, the adi-guru of all, one who gives to the fallen soul what is not obtainable easily for even Lord Brahma or Lord Siva to get, the life and soul of all Vaisnavas, the selfsame personality of Godhead Lord Balarama, whose glories are hidden in the Vedas but openly revealed in Srimad Bhagavatam and the puranas, one who broke the dam of Krishna prema and went from door to door begging people to chant the name of Gauranga, the proprietor of the market place of the Holy name, one who is the gateway to the inner circle of very confidential devotees of the Lord, that Supreme personality who revealed after a very long time, the glories of Lord Caitanya which were hidden from the eyes of all, one who awards the pinnacle of devotion to the fallen souls of the Kali Yuga, giving them what was not obtained by even those in the Satya Yuga --- devotion to Lord caitanya; obeisances to Lord Nityananda Prabhu who has orchestrated all this in order to bring me to the path of pure devotion! (I will try to describe Lord Caitanya in another passage later...)

Jaya Nityananda Gauranga! Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare! All glories to the illustrious guru parampara! All glories to all the Vaisnavas! Please accept this insignificant offering at your feet excusing all my limitations and offenses! Gaura Premanande!

Aspiring to become a servant of the Vaisnavas and the Lord,

A most low, insignificant and worthless person,

Srinath K

Re: Nityananda is GOD.

Nityaananda! Gauraanga! Hare Krishna! Lord Nityaananda is God without a doubt. He is the Supreme Personality of Servitor Godhead. Lord Gaura Krishna's first expansion Lord Nityaananda Balarama is also God. God is so great that His first expansion Lord Nitaai is fully non-different from Him and also known as God. There is no difference in potency between Krishna and Balaraama, Gaura and Nityaananda. Just because He is the first expansion, He is no way lower. He is also God.

Lord Nitaai is not just an expansion. He is the source of all expansions. Calling Lord Nitaai simply as an expansion is not His complete glories. He is also Bhagavaana. He possesses all the six opulences just like His brother. Shrila Vrindaavana Daasa Thaakura calls Lord Nitaai also as "Mahaaprabhu" in Shri Chaitanya Bhaagavata because He is also Bhagavaana Himself. Anyone who says that Nitaai is lower than Gaura or Balaraama is less than Krishna does not understand Their non-different nature.
Krishna and Balaraama are exactly identical except in bodily complexion. Gaura and Nitaai possess the same golden bodily complexion. There is nothing which Gaura (Krishna) can give but Nitaai (Balaraama) cannot give. There is nothing which Gaura (Krishna) can do but Nitaai (Balaraama) cannot do. Lord Nityaananda Balaraama has His own set of Gopies also in madhurya rasa.

Re: Nityananda is GOD.

Cc Adi chap 5
Lord Nityananda is not God, but His first expansion

This chapter is chiefly devoted to describing the essential nature and glories of Sri Nityananda Prabhu. Lord Sri Krsna is the absolute Personality of Godhead, and His first expansion in a form for pastimes is Sri Balarama.
Beyond the limitation of this material world is the spiritual sky, paravyoma, which has many spiritual planets, the supreme of which is called Krsnaloka. Krsnaloka, the abode of Krsna, has three divisions, which are known as Dvaraka, Mathura and Gokula. In that abode the Personality of Godhead expands Himself into four plenary portions--Krsna, Balarama, Pradyumna (the transcendental Cupid) and Aniruddha. They are known as the original quadruple forms.
In Krsnaloka is a transcendental place known as Svetadvipa or Vrndavana. Below Krsnaloka, in the spiritual sky, are the Vaikuntha planets. On each Vaikuntha planet a four-handed Narayana, expanded from the first quadruple manifestation, is present. The Personality of Godhead known as Sri Balarama in Krsnaloka is the original Sankarsana (attracting Deity), and from this Sankarsana expands another Sankarsana, called Maha-Sankarsana, who resides in one of the Vaikuntha planets. By His internal potency, Maha-Sankarsana maintains the transcendental existence of all the planets in the spiritual sky, where all the living beings are eternally liberated souls. The influence of the material energy is conspicuous there by its absence. On those planets the second quadruple manifestation is present.
Outside of the Vaikuntha planets is the impersonal manifestation of Sri Krsna, which is known as the Brahmaloka. On the other side of the Brahmaloka is the spiritual karana-samudra, or Causal Ocean. The material energy exists on the other side of the Causal Ocean, without touching it. In the Causal Ocean is Maha-Visnu, the original purusa expansion from Sankarsana. This Maha-Visnu places His glance over the material energy, and by a reflection of His transcendental body He amalgamates Himself within the material elements.
As the source of the material elements, the material energy is known aspradhana, and as the source of the manifestations of the material energy it is known as maya. But material nature is inert in that she has no independent power to do anything. She is empowered to make the cosmic manifestation by the glance of Maha-Visnu. Therefore the material energy is not the original cause of the material manifestation. Rather, the transcendental glance of Maha-Visnu over material nature produces that cosmic manifestation.
Maha-Visnu again enters every universe as the reservoir of all living entities, Garbhodakasayi Visnu. From Garbhodakasayi Visnu expands Ksirodakasayi Visnu, the Supersoul of every living entity. Garbhodakasayi Visnu also has His own Vaikuntha planet in every universe, where He lives as the Supersoul or supreme
controller of the universe. Garbhodakasayi Visnu reclines in the midst of the watery portion of the universe and generates the first living creature of the universe, Brahma. The imaginary universal form is a partial manifestation of Garbhodakasayi Visnu.
In the Vaikuntha planet in every universe is an ocean of milk, and within that ocean is an island calied Svetadvipa, where Lord Visnu lives. Therefore this chapter describes two Svetadvipas--one in the abode of Krsna and the other in the ocean of milk in every universe. The Svetadvipa in the abode of Krsna is identical with Vrndavana-dhama, which is the place where Krsna appears Himself to display His loving pastimes. In the Svetadvipa within every universe is a Sesa form of Godhead who serves Visnu by assuming the form of His umbrella, slippers, couch, pillows, garments, residence, sacred thread, throne and so on.
Lord Baladeva in Krsnaloka is Nityananda Prabhu. Therefore Nityananda Prabhu is the original Sankarsana, and Maha-Sankarsana and His expansions as the purusas in the universes are plenary expansions of Nityananda Prabhu.
In this chapter the author has described the history of his leaving home for a personal pilgrimage to Vrndavana and his achieving all success there. In this description it is revealed that the author's original paternal home and birthplace were in the district of Katwa,in the village of J hamatapura, which is near Naihati. Krsnadasa Kaviraja's brother invited Sri Minaketana Ramadasa, a great devotee of Lord Nityananda, to his home, but a priest named Gunarnava Misra did not receive him well, and Krsnadasa Kaviraja Gosvami's brother, not recognizing the glories of Lord Nityananda, also took sides with the priest. Therefore Ramadasa became sorry, broke his flute and went away. This was a great disaster for the brother of Krsnadasa Kaviraja Gosvami. But on that very night Lord Nityananda Prabhu Himself graced Krsnadasa Kaviraja Gosvami in a dream and ordered him to leave on the next day for Vrndavana.

Baby Krishna Holding Balarama's Club?

Nityananda! Gauranga! Hare Krsna!

Today I was chanting jaap of the holy name 'Nityananda'. Following Gurudeva's instruction to have focused chanting I was holding the form of very young baby Krishna in my mind.
I questioned to myself is it ok to chant the holy name of Nityananda while meditating on the form of baby Krishna?

Baby Krishna was lying down. I could see his soft feet and legs, plumpish like a one month old baby! I was wondering what mother Yashoda would feel, enchanted by her new child. And was smiling in my heart to think that at some stage she would see all the universes in his mouth. Contemplating who are you? This was my meditation.

Gazing at his beautiful soft legs I could see golden ankle bells, as the meditation unfolded. Finely made. The gold enhanced the softness and color of his skin. At that point in meditation on Nityananda Naam (around 30 minutes) I desired to gaze at more of the body of Sri Krsna. In meditation, and with hesitation, I continued upward and was amazed!. I could see baby Krishna's left hand playing with a club. The club was small like a baby's toy. The club was golden, finely made...its end was a round ball bedecked with jewels. Balarama's club.

I could not understand the meaning of this. But felt assured in my heart that it is ok to chant Nityananda-Balarama's name while meditating on the form of baby Krishna.

Later in the day I mentioned this jaap experience to Bhakta Matus. Matus explained that GauraKrishna is pleased when we chant the holy name of Nityananda. And that this was Krishna's way of showing you His pleasure that you were chanting Nitaai's holy name.

Matus Prabhu's gracious explanation rings true with the meditation of my heart. And increases my faith in Nityananda Naam.

Whispers - a longing for the bird song!

Nityananda! Gauranga! Hare Krsna!

I was sitting in the public library today seeing within my heart the form of Yoghurt Thief-Krishna.Tender soft skin, soft black eyes.... longing!. Where do we find Krishna in this material manifestation, all attempts to seek love on that platform fall short of hwat the heart years for....longing. But the essence of every person who walks by is nothing but Krishna. Love is silent, watches... and whispers, and waits...

Madhurya Kadambini ... seventh shower of nectar...

"...Tears streaking down his cheeks, such a devotee begs for the Vaisnava's mercy. He eagerly awaits to hear their nectarean instructions and stays in their company for a week or so, filled with happiness, basking under the compassionate glances and always looking for opportunities to serve them to their full satisfaction.
...On one occasion he accompanies a devotee for a walk in the woody glades. Upon seeing a herd of black antelopes he thinks, 'If Lord Krishna is truly merciful to me then those antelopes will approach me without fear, knowing me to be harmless, or else they will simply disappear into the woods.' How birds, beasts, and other natural phenomena react to him he also interprets either as Krishna's mercy or His chastisement.'

The pain of realizing one cannot remember Krishna constantly breaks the heart... the heart is supposed to be un-burnable, un-moistable, un-changing! Then why this contradiction to scripture... the heart is vulnerable! What is that potency that transforms the incorruptible!

Whispers

By Neil (Nava Gauranga dasa)

(Easter Saturday 22nd March 2008)

He called out to me....
but I could not see.
Then a cool breeze touched my cheeks.

He looked at me...
but I could not feel.
Then the midday sun warmed my skin.

He touched me...
but I could not hold such tenderness.
Then the songbirds song filled the air!

Oh the birds taught me!

Then my heart burst open...
and madness set upon me.
The moon, the flower, the star...shone brightly.
And I saw Him!

We were One!

What was that fear, that kept me from hearing?
That kept me from feeling His patient gaze?
From feeling the tenderness of touch?

Such is the way of Love. He called in whispers!

Almost silent...except for song!
The bird song opened me!

This poem is about all of us.
Birds speak to me, watch me, and sing to me often.

Years ago a best friend had a canary in a cage. His kids used to freak it out. He asked me what to do about the bird? Everytime anyone would go near its indoor cage it would fly about madly in fear.

I showed him what to do! I opened the cage and put my hand in, and gently stroked the canaries breast feathers. The bird showed no fear!

My friend was aghast and shocked. 'How did you do that Neil?'

I said, Dont  you know? I am mad! And I dont really know.

That was twelve years ago. Most of my friends have moved on. God I miss them. I wonder if they know.

Nityananda is GOD.

07. Pastimes of Lord Nityananda
with the Ganges crocodiles

jaya vishvambhara sarvavaishnavera naatha .
bhakti diyaa jive Prabhu kara aatmasaat ..1..

All Glories to you Visvambhara the master of all Vaishnavas, the master, father, mother Guru, everything of all the Vaishnavas, please give all the souls devotion unto you, please kara atmasat, its a deep word, it not only means to deliver all the souls but to bring all the souls in your family, there are various meanings or make all the souls like you, like you means soul cannot become God,they can realize their spiritual bodies and engage in service of Lord in spiritual world and accept everyone as your own and allow them into your pastimes is another meaning of atmasat.Means Lord will never keave that soul, soul will always be dear to Lord, let all souls become as dear to you as yourself is another meaning. So in that way Shrila Vrindavan dasa Thakura is asking for benediction from Gauranga and requesting Him to please accept all orphan souls in this material world.

hena lilaa nityaananda-vishvambhara-sange .
navadvipe dui jane kare vahu range ..2..

So in that way Lord Nityananda Prabhu and Lord Gaurasundara both of them enjoyed diffirent, variegated, unlimited, boundless, spiritual, blissful pastimes in Navadvipa dhama.

krishnaanande alaukika nityaanandaraaya .
niravadhi vaalakera praaya vyavasaaya ..3..

Due to extreme bliss of Krishna Consciousness Krishna naam,Krishna dhaam,Krishna leela Nityananda Prabhu was alaukika means unpralleled extraordinarily beautiful.Constantly 24 hours He was absorbed in mood like a child because bliss of Krishnaananda,Gauraananda bliss of Lords devotion made Him totally innocent like a child oblivious to external surroundings.

sabaare dekhiyaa prita madhura sambhaasha .
aapanaa-aapani nritya-vaadya-gita-haasa ..4..

Eventhough Lord Nityananda Prabhu was oblivious to external surroundings, everyone who saw Him,He would converse with them very madhura-sambhasa sweetly, and anyone who heard His divine voice would melt in ecstasy.Normally His associates were there with Him,but even if there were no one with Him also ,then apana-apani,on His own He would always keep on dancing, playing musical instruments, singing, laughing. He was so absorbed. He wasnt dependent on anyone on His blissful trance that is why He is known as Nityananda He is not dependant on anyone He is Supremely Independent Lord for His happiness. In this material world we have to be so dependant on so many things for our happiness,if we dont get any supply of food from grocery we are not happy,if the electricman stops the fan, light we are not happy,if we have so stomach ache, doctor does not give proper medicine then we are not happy. But Lord Nityananda is not dependant on anyone for His blissful absorbtion.Fully independent.

svaanubhaavaanande kshane karena hunkaara .
shunile apurva-vuddhi janmaye sabaara ..5..

Svanubhavaande, very deep words have to be described properly in English, sva means own and anubhava means own experiences/realizations spiritually His own tattva His own position as Supreme Personality of Servitor Godhead anande in that bliss in bliss of His own position as primary servitor of Lord Gauranga. At every second He used to roar loudly and very very fortunate souls who somehow got the opportunity to hear the roaring, their intelligence, some very special kind of divine intelligence unique intelligence awakned in them it cannot be expressed in words.Shrila Vrindavana dasa Thakura says those who heard His roaring developed some very fine intelligence very very blossoming intelligence Their iintelligence blossomed even more even though they were pure devotees with fully bossomed consciousness but still their consciousness was blossoming

varshaate gangaaya dheu kumbhire veshtita .
taahaate bhaasaye, tilaarddheka naahi bhita ..6..

During the rainy season we know how the Ganga is extremely turbulent and expanding, even in rainy season Lord Nityananda kumbhira vestita kumbhira means crocodiles and vestita means fully covered.Ganges was fully covered by crocodiles in rainy season even more.Still Nityananda Prabhu fearlessly floated and swam in water of Ganga without any kind of fear little bit.Even drop of fear He did not have of the crocodile infested waters.

sarvaloka dekhi dare karehaaya haaya .
tathaapi bhaasena haasi nityaanandaraaya ..7..

Nobody was swimming obviously at that time in Ganga, everbody was saying alas alas when Nityananda Prabhu would start swimming, floating in Ganga everyone would shout alas because crocodiles were so nearby.Huge crocodiles 500 years ago.Now species have vanished,500 yrs ago there were huge crocodiles.Everyone else was tremendously frightned when Nityananda Prabhu would float in waters, but He continued smiling and performing pastimes in Ganga. If He does not swim in Ganga how will Ganga get the good fortune of embracing the Lord with her waves. In kali yuga Lord had promised Ganga that He will come personally as His mantra upasaka.

anantera bhaave Prabhu bhaasena gangaaya .
naa vujhiyaa sarvaloka karehaaya haaya ..8..

Lord Nityananda Prabhus partial incarnation is Lord Ananta Shesha who floats in the karana sagara(causal ocean) ananta Shesha becomes bed of Lord in the ocean so He floats over the water. So Nityananda Prabhu in same mood because He was same personality His expansion is Lord Ananta. Not understanding His full Glories, not knoswing His full Glories some people some devotees would say haya haya alas alas in anxiety, nothing should happen to Nityananda Prabhu.

Nityananda Gauranga Hare Krishna
Jagannatha Gauranga dasa
