Dear Swami Gaurangapada, Bhakta Tommy, and assembled devotees, please accept my full dandavat pranams.

Here is today's Gita As It Is verse from my daily reading. Bhakta Tommy I started reading one verse and purport per day last November, and this is the reading for the last two days.

Srila Gurudeva has so beautifully expressed the glory of Sri Gauranga in his above comment. A topmost sannyasi is the leader of brahmanas and all orders of life, setting the example for all to follow. As we know Sri Gauranga is the Supreme Personality of Godhead, and within him are all transcendental qualities unlimited. Because he is the personification of mercy, he designed in his heart how best to win souls to Krsna. He thus considered taking the sannyasa dress and setting the highest example of behaviour, so all would follow.

Gita explicitly says what a great person does others follow. The below verse contains the transcendental qualities which lead to liberation. It has been said that one has to be born of godly parents at an auspicious time (and conceived auspiciously) to attain these qualties. But it has also been said that liberation comes to serve the pure hearted bhakta.

Srila Gurudeva, Sri Nityananda and Sri Gauranga have appeared in this world to hand out this great treasure of bhakti. All these qualities will manifest in due course by the grace of Naam Prabhu (Sri Sri Nitaai-GauraKrsna Naam), in the hearts of the sincere.

We have been graced with the highest benediction and been given a chance to cultivate loving service this life. The association of a gentle hearted sannyasa monk. All these qualities in Vaisnava Thakura will come down to us as we serve him, to assist us in cultivating service mood, day by day. Eventually leaving behind the material body  (of suffering) and entering divine lila.

We are so fortunate to be under the shelter of this divine potency. Under the shelter of loving devotion.

Thanks Nava and Tommy. The origin of all nectar is Lord Gauraanga. We can just distribute tiny drops here and there. But even those tiny drops of Lord Gaura's mercy can inundate millions of hearts.

Over the last month or so, there is occasionally some problems at Nitaai.com. For example on the forum page the forum is cut short at the bottom. I have noticed this throughout the website. Scroll down does not work to show the incomplete page.

The same problem has occured in the editor when I press preview post. Cutting the full page short, thus not allowing me to do further edits.

Dear Swami Gaurangapada and assembled devotees, please accept my full dandavat/pranams!

The last few days I have been very sick with virus and fever. Leading to reflection.

This morning in jaap I was calling Sri Nitaai. 'Lord Nitaai my soul is self-obsessed with glory and fame...I see this everywhere due to ignorance. My tongue and mind are enemies. Please teach me how to rectify this gross sin?'

The Lord answered, 'What you see now in meditation (my beautiful form) needs to be glorified by the tongue! Nothing else is to come from the tongue! When you glorify me, then my love will shower down! This is the mood and grace of Gurudeva! I will teach you how, if you wish to follow'

At some point in the search for truth, step by step the soul will realize more of its original nature. The journey can be painful, but the outcome sweet. Material life and its cultivation is sweet...but the painful outcome is beyond words to describe. Die to live!

I am so happy that you have such a staunch faith in Lord Gauraanga Mahaaprabhu. Chanting of Nityaananda Gauraanga Naama along with the Hare Krishna Mahaamantra will greatly help you in all your practices and goals which you desire to achieve in Bhakti. Please keep up this enthusiasm and attraction for the Lord which you are feeling at such a young age, upto the end of your life and you will attain perfection. And don't become disheartened if you have to face some failures on this path. We are tested by Maya but with the Holy Names of Nityaananda, Gauraanga, and Hare Krishna, we will be victorious. Pranams!   There were some reports from visitors with slow speeds that our framed site NITAAI.com takes a long time to load. So we have decided to give our visitors two options. Those who want to browse with the top menu and left frame inside the frame can directly visit http://NITAAI.net and those who want to browse without frames can directly go to http://NITAAI.com for quicker access. All the forum links of the NITAAI.com pages have been changed so that all the pages will load without frames. We are still working on the top CSS menu for the NITAAI.com pages and we wll try to make it as close to the NITAAI.net top menu as possible though all the detailed submenu features may will not be available. At NITAAI.com, all the external sites will be loaded in another tab due to it's non-frame structure unlike that of NITAAI.net. Please let us know if you have any feedback.
