Re: Nityananda Gauranga on Guitar
Nityaananda! Gauraanga! Hare Krishna! I certainly agree. It is quite touching and flowing. The abrupt ending brought our happiness to a sudden end. You can try to directly look into the webcam lens when you are not reading so that the viewers would feel a more personal touch.
The webcam video quality is very nice even at a larger size which can be expected with the Carl Zeiss lens of the Logitech 9000 Pro webcam. I recommend any devotees who desire to preach via video on the internet in higher quality video to get this $80 webcam and use it via an external microphone. For getting higher quality audio and WMV-VC1 Advanced profile video, one can use the webcam recording software SuperVideoCap. For edit the default WMV video profiles (.prx files) in SuperVideoCap, you will need to download and install the free Windows Media Encoder. Then, you can set the video and audio quality and size according to your requirements. Video quality can be set in the .prx file to anywhere between 1 to 2 Mbps Advanced Profile VC1 WMV (for high quality video), audio quality to 96 or 128 kbps, 48 KHz Stereo WMA and video size to 800 by 600.
I think in the process of converting the videos, Youtube is introducing some lip sync delay in regards to video and audio. The webcam mic is quite clear though there is some background noise especially when you speak which is typical on inbuilt webcam microphones. It is due to the fact that the webcam software records the audio at quite a low quality of only 22 KHz. Using SuperVideoCap should solve that problem.
Daaso'smi, Swami Gaurangapada.
