Re: Sanskrit Phonetics

Dear Bhaktatommy prabhu,

Nityananda Gauranga Hare Krishna! Please accept my respectful obeisances!

You can try this link http://www.omniglot.com/writing/sanskrit.htm  It has the sanskrit alphabets with English equivalent as used in IAST system that is followed in all of Srila Prabhupada's books. So can see the pronunciation in the phonetics mentioned in the brackets.

Nityananda! Gauranga! Hare krsna!

my Pranams,

Dear, Srinath Prabhu,
I am sincerely excited to see and interact with Nitaai Sangha.  You are appreciated dearly.  Please let us not associate with our conditioned bodies, we can notice them but we can transcend all this now if we identify with our actual identity that is Gods eternal servant.  So we must identify with this position first like, I am Gods eternal servant but somehow due to contact with material since time immemorial my body has become conditioned to this animal life and ego I was foolish but now i have realized my position as servant.  This is my opinion.  In my opinion this will free us from resignation , or spiritual stagnation.  in my opinion when a devotee loses his intelligence for however shortly or long, immediately embraces this position once intelligence is given. Yes i have done wrong but now i realize i can only be happy as servant to Krishna.  of course we agree only due to mercy of Guru we can realize this position and there is no question of humility or false humility but one of identification of ones position.  This is my opinion.  I think Krishna does not like it when we beat our selves up.  remember the flies and the bees?  we should become bees , always hunting and finding nectar everywhere especially in our selves. Our thoughts become our words and our words become our actions.  we may be fallen conditioned souls but the means of transcending this position partly is rejecting it.  The surrendered soul is not suffering any karmic reactions.  Please accept my appreciation.
and I will post a photo below

Dayal Nitai Chaitanya ( does any one know where the song is from )

Dayal Nitai Chaitanya
by Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura

    (1)
'dayal nitai caitanya bo'le nac re amar man
nac re amar man, nac re amar man
O my mind, just dance! O my mind, just dance! O my mind, please dance, chanting, "dayal nitai caitanya!"

(2)
(emon dayal to nai he, mar kheye prema dey)
(tabe) aparadha dure jabe, pabe prem-dhan
    (aparadhera-bichara to nai he)
takhon ksija-name ruci ha'be, ghucibe bandhan

Such a merciful personality as Nityananda Prabhu is not to be found anywhere. He suffers a beating from Jagai and Madhai and still gives them love of God. When you become offenceless, you will obtain love of God; but in these names of Chaitanya and Nitai there is no consideration of offences. Once you have a taste for the Holy Name of Krsna, bondage to this world will come to an end.

(3)
    (anurag to habe he)
takhon anayase saphal habe jibera jiban
(ksija-rati bina jiban to miche he)
ee vsndavane radha-yamer pa be daran
    (gaura-kspa hale he)

When there is attachment to the Holy Name of Krsna, then, very easily, the life of a living being becomes successful. Without attachment to Krsna, life is simply false. If the mercy of Lord Gaura is there, then at the end of life you will obtain the beautiful vision of Radha and Syama in Vndavana.

Re: Sanskrit Phonetics

Dear Bhaktatommy,

Nityananda! Gauranga! Hare Krishna! My pranams!

Enough of that! Please! I am a fool number one who doesn't even have proper character or clean habits and I am surviving here only out of all your mercy of Guru, Vaisnavas and the Lord or else I would have been kicked into hell a long time ago.

But since you mentioned it, why not every member in the forum upload their picture over here so that we can all see each other and know whom we're speaking to? This is sangha and it should be like we are all near each other. It makes the connections a lot more personal.

A Suggestion,
Srinath
