Gaura Gadadhara and Bhagavatam

Nityananda! Gauranga! Hare Krishna! Jaya Shri Guru Parampara! Pranams! As I was chanting today, the Holy Names revealed to me a glimpse of the beautiful meeting of Shri Shri Gaura Gadadhara in Shri Tota Gopinatha Temple in Puri Dhaama and the super-excellent recitation of Shrimad Bhagavatam by Shrila Gadadhara Pandita in the presence of Lord Gauraanga. Total Gopinatha is one of my favorite places of meditation while Naama Bhajana. I do not know why but my mind just flies to Tota Gopinatha while chanting.  It certainly has some magnetic spiritual power. I could see profuse pearl-like tears flowing from the lotus eyes of Lord Gaurahari as He was hearing Bhagavatam sitting beside Shrila Gadadhara Pandita.

They wetted even Shrila Gadadhara also. As he was reciting the verses of the Shrimad Bhagavatam, Shrila Gadadhara was getting intense satisfaction and bliss simply by beholding Lord Gaura's ecstasies. I could feel Lord Gauraanga saying to Shrila Gadadhara, "More, more more..." Lord Gaura was completely overwhelmed. He would embrace Shrila Gadadhara sometimes unable to contain His ecstasy while hearing Hari Katha. As I was vibrating the Holy Names internally by moving my lips and tongue, I could glimpse the words and emotions of Shri Shri Gaura Gadadhara. I could remember the instructions of my Shrila Gurudeva...Naama bhaja, naama chinta, naama kara saara...The sphurti or any kind of revelation during Naama Bhajana is only possible by the causeless mercy of Naama Prabhu, not by our own mechanical efforts during chanting. We have to please and supplicate Him by serving His with our tongue. And He will reveal Himself at the appropriate time. His ways are mysterious.

Daaso'smi, Swami Gaurangapada.

I definitely agree with you Matus Prabhu that this is  extremely important information. Thank you for serving all the Vaisnavas by making a very nice video of this all important chapter. Swami Gaurangapada's Secret of All Secrets is also very important to watch in regards to this confidential subject  for anyone who has not watched that video yet. Nitai Gaura naam is the only way.

Gauranga = Radha-Madanmohan, Radha-Govinda, Radha-Gopinath

Nityananda! Gauranga! Hare Krishna!

Dear Swami Gaurangapada Maharaja, dear devotess, please accept my most respectful obeisances.

i encountered something very interesting while reading from His Holiness Shrila Gour Govinda Maharaja, which reveals deeper Gauranga Tattva, yet which also requires further elaboration:

"Krishna is bent in 3 places. The first bend is at His Lotus Feet. The second bend is at the left side of His Mouth. And the third bend is in His Heart. That means sambandha-tattva at the Feet - Radha-Madanmohan. Secondly, abhidheya-tattva at the Mouth - Radha-Govinda. And third is prayojana-tattva, in the heart - Radha-Gopinath - because prema is stored in the innermost chamber of the heart. The purport is that those who are fortunate have received the sweet honey emanating from the Lotus Feet of Gaurahari, the combinend form of Radha-Madanmohan. Those who are more fortunate get that sweet honey emanating from the Lotus Mouth - abhidheya-tattva - of Gaurahari, the combined form of Radha-Govinda. And those who are most fortunate have received that sweet honey emanating from the Lotus Heart of Gaurahari, the combined form of Sri Sri Radha-Gopinath. They are the dear devotees of Mahaprabhu headed by Sri Svarupa Damodara and Sri Rupa. All these mahajanas have received it..." (The embankment of separation by HH Shrila Gour Govinda Maharaja)

1.) What does the gradation of the devotees of Lord Gauranga according to these 3 considerations mean?

2.) Does it mean, that analogically to Radha-Krishna-Bhakti, one shall take shelter of and worship Lord Gauranga in these 3 steps: sambandha, abhidheya, prayojana? If yes, what are the exact forms of Lord Gaurahari in these 3 considerations, that one can take shelter and meditate of?

i think there are much more points to be discussed in this connection, but for the beginning these are the most important questions in this regard which presently occupy my mind and heart.

Thank You very very much in advance.

Yours,
Matus

morning jaap realization

Nityananda! Gauranga! Hare Krsna!

Early morning, chanting Gauranga Naam and offering incense. It came to my mind in strong conviction:

'success in life will be attained by surrender to the Holy Name'

What is success? In wordly standards it means many things to many people.

What is spiritual success? It is real life! Love for God, harmony!

I was feeling the conviction that steadily spending time with God each day in Naam bhajan will bring purity of heart and purity of vision. Sure guidance for this birth. And with this purified intent the capability to be of better service to others in love.

Surely Naam is an unlimited ocean of auspiciousness. The ocean of love of God must be unlimited.

Awakening to one's constitutional position as a servant surely must be perfection of human birth.

These are some thoughts that arose this morning while chanting the beautiful name of Sri Gauranga.

thank you....Nava.

Re: What is in the Name?

Nityaananda! Gauraanga! Hare Krishna! Welcome to NITAAI.com Shilpa. If you try chanting the Holy Names of Nityaananda, Gauraanga, and Hare Krishna, you will find that They are in fact quite interesting and They increase our own creativity too. They are not ordinary mundane Names of some person. They are spiritual rich and condensed with tremendous amount of spiritual knowledge and power. I have been chanting for the past 19 years and have never found Them boring.  The realizations, bliss, peace and harmony I get by chanting are fresh and unique every day and always increasing.

I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Daaso'smi, Swami Gaurangapada.
