sad but we have hope in Gauranga

Some of our friends in Krsna consciousness have been practicing for 40 years that is laudable, But wait a minute I hear they feel pain from seeing the less fortunate souls;
I thought the soul is sat cit ananda full of bliss and knowledge, and what the vaisnava see all around everyone is going through their own spiritual evolution, and karma so if you dont have good fortune, then you will suffer from your own pervious actions

These are the 8,400,000 classifications of species throughout which
you will have to wander, in the world of action and reaction.

discrimination, but that will be denied you if, compelled by the

degraded into an animal body? What guarantee is there that you wont
be ?

According to their karma, all living entities are wandering throughout the entire universe. Some of them are being elevated to the upper planetary systems, and some are going down into the lower planetary systems. Out of many millions of wandering living entities, one who is very fortunate gets an opportunity to associate with a bona fide spiritual master by the grace of Krsna. By the mercy of both Krsna and the spiritual master, such a person receives the seed of the creeper of devotional service.

The intelligent souls who have attained divine qualities and abandoned all mundane prejudice, perceive the absolute transcendence within all living beings the humble and learned brahmana, the cow, the elephant, the dog, or the outcast eater of dog-flesh. Therefore, they are known as 'pannita' men of true wisdom.

The spotlessly purehearted and self-satisfied soul who has attained to his conscious divine nature neither grieves nor craves for anything. Seeing all beings equally (in the conception of My supreme energy), he gradually achieves supreme devotion (premabhakti) unto Me.

The practicing vaisnava following the path of his Gurudev after many years of service may learn something even be self satisfied, and be not affected when he see the unfortunate souls exploiting material nature either rich or poor, pretty, or ugly.

The yogi who is a worshiper of the Supersoul is superior to
persons engrossed in severe austerities such as the candrayana,
superior to the worshipers of Brahman, and superior to the
fruitive workers. Know this certainly to be My conclusion.
Therefore, O Arjuna, be a yogi.

Among all types of yogis, the most elevated of all is the devotee
who has full faith in the authoritative pure devotional scriptures,
and who adores Me with all his heart by hearing and singing My
divine glories, rendering all services unto Me. Certainly this is My
opinion.

verse:

"I take shelter of Sri Krishna Caitanya Mahaprabhu, who is outwardly of a golden complexion, but is inwardly Krishna Himself. In this ageof Kali, He displays His expansions while performing congregational chanting of the holy name of Krishna. That he is blackish within means that internally He is Krishna; that He is golden without means that He has accepted the mood of Srimati Radharani. In the age of Kali, that Golden Lord is seen accompanied by His expansions, associates, and intimate devotees performing sankirtana."

"O Mahaprabhu, Your lotus feet are the highest object of meditation, for they not only destroy the pain of material existence, but they bestow the greatest fulfillment to all souls who take shelter beneath them. Your lotus feet even purify all saintly persons and holy places.
Lord Siva and Lord Brahma aspire to take shelter beneath Your lotus feet. O Mahaprabhu, You give shelter to all who simply bow down before You. You relieve all the miseries of Your surrendered servants. In the grand ship of Your lotus feet, we can cross over this ocean of material miseries. O Mahaprabhu, I bow down before Your lotus feet."

Forgiveness

Nityananda! Gauranga! Hare Krishna!

Today morning as i was chanting the Name of Nityananda i was asking Lord Nityananda to give me the strength to forgive. My ego can so easily become aggrieved and can so easily find reasons to find fault with or accuse others. But that is not the way of a devotee. A devotee is compassionate. A devotee is on the way of opening his heart and that means also the cultivation of the quality of forgiveness. There are many instances in the Holy Scriptures and statements of the saintly devotees emphasizing the importance of mercy, compassion, forgiveness. i remembered Lord Jesus saying, forgive and You will be forgiven. i myself are still not perfect so how can i expect others to be perfect?! And after all, forgiveness is something so beautiful, it is a divine quality eternally attached to those who are perfect. Lord Nityananda, Who is the Perfect, Supreme Lord Himself is the most appropriate example for it. He forgave although the others made Him bleed. Oh Lord Nitaai, oh most merciful Vaishnavas, please endow me with a drop of the infinite ocean of the mercy and compassion You possess, so that i can forgive...

Re: Inner Meaning of Guruji's Prayer

Dear Bhakta Matus prabhu,

Nityananda Gauranga Hare Krishna! Please accept my humble obeisances!

What can I enlighten you about? I am only a very poor beggar in spiritual terms. What I put up is what was written by the great Jiva Gosvami. Personally I myself do not understand many things I quote from acaryas, but getting a little hint from within I post it anyway because I know that you devotees can understand it properly.

I do not know what the great acarya has conveyed and it will surely take an entire sastra to explain that. He says that even though the Lord within is the same as the Lord appearing outside, still when the Lord appears face to face, that becomes highest priority for the devotees as seen by the example of Dhruva, Narada and others. Acintya Bhedabheda is the solution to clear all spiritual mysteries, but it is also really the ultimate mystery of all mysteries! I don't know why, but all I know is this is what is seen.

I feel personally that the complete answers are beyond logic, beyond words and require direct realisation of the devotional mellows to understand them. So maybe a very senior devotee or guruji, if we deserve to know, can tell us a hint of what can be known through words.

Quote :  What is available in the revealed scripture today is less than 2% of what there was originally, which in turn is less than a ten thousandth of the scriptures revealed to higher beings. All this revealed scripture is only a very very infinitesimal part of the infinite ocean of scripture!!!

Honestly having no idea,

Srinath

Re: Inner Meaning of Guruji's Prayer

Nityananda! Gauranga! Hare Krishna!

Thank You Srinath for this interesting point. One could conclude from this post that seeing the Lord face to face is the highest. But i am asking myself, what is the difference between the Form of the Lord in our heart, in His Archa-Vigraha-Form, His Name and His actual Form? When one's eyes become gradually smeared by the ointment of Love, doesn't one perceive the Form of one's worshipable Lord same in one's heart, in a Murti, in His Name or directly face to face?

Please enlighten this insignificant soul poor of knowledge and realization.

Yours,
Matus
