Please share your chat conversations with Swami Gaurangapada

Dear Devotees,
Nityananda! Gauranga! Hare Krishna! Please accept my most respectful obeisances.

There is a lot spiritual nectar being discussed daily on a personal level between Swami Gaurangapada Maharaja and various devotees via the medium of chat. It would be very sad if such conversations get lost and are not revealed for the benefit of the practicing devotees, who are thirsty after such valuable guidance.

That is why i would kindly beg the devotees to consider the possibility of posting such conversations on the forum, so that all of us get the benefit of reading spiritual information and to be able to store it forever in our upcoming versions of NITAAI Veda.

Each and every devotee can judge what he or she would like to share with the others. A particular devotee can of course leave out the personal, intimate part of the chat conversation and extract and post only the philosophical part.

It does not require much time and effort to quickly go through the chat conversation after it has finished and post some relevant spiritual nectar on our forum.

In Google Mail each and every conversation is being saved, so it gives even the possibility to review the chat conversations at a future time, if one does not have time at the moment to do it.

i believe that if we make a habit of it, there is a new tidal wave of spiritual nectar going to come on a daily basis and flood our precious NITAAI.com Sangha and enrich our upcoming versions of NITAAI Veda.

Humbly awaiting Your positive response.

Your servant,
Matus

Naama Bhajana vs Deity Archana

SB 11.2.47 purport:

Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura has given a nice explanation of the difference between arcana and bhajana. Arcana refers to the platform of sadhana-bhakti, in which one serves the Lord to carry out the rules and regulations of the process. One who has achieved the shelter of the Lord's holy name and is totally engaged in the attempt to serve the Lord should be considered to be on the platform of bhajana, even though his external activities may sometimes be less strict than those of the neophyte engaged in arcana. This apparent lack of strictness, however, refers to laxity not in the basic principles of sane behavior and renunciation of sense gratification, but rather in the details of Vaisnava ceremonies.

Shrila Swami Prabhupada chanted the Gauranga Mantra during Japa

Shrutakirti dasa prabhu came to the Bhaktivedanta Manor UK, to give a class on his memories of Shrila Prabhupada for Birmingham University of 30 devotee students, as he was Shrila Prabhupada's personal servant for a year and had the opportunity to directly see his personal bhajana. When he was asked whether he had ever heard Shrila Prabhupada chanting the Pancha Tattva Mantra before each round of Hare Krishna Japa, he said no. However, he heard Shrila Prabhupada spontaneously chant or shout "Gauranga" during his japa often. (Submitted by a devotee).
