Re: offering bhoga to the deity


Nityananda Gauranga Hare Krishna! Not to mention that there are so many dishes from my part of the country that will be all staple impossible to make without tomatoes or all the other things not mentioned in the songs -- rasam, sambhar, etc...and so many staple recipies of India!

Srila Prabhupada has mentioned that Srimati Radharani never cooks the same dish twice for the Lord because of the infinite variety of the spiritual world. In that case we can only imagine what kinds of foods Krishna eats -- we cannot even imagine how many varieties of dishes must be there in that bhoga arati song...amazing don't you agree?

I think that lowerthanarat asked what Krsna like to eat not what is forbiden? Really, in Bhoga arati song there are no cauliflower potatoes or tomatos. Hardly to imagine subji withouth this!  Pranams
