2. Die höchste Herrlichkeit der Namen Nityananda und Gauranga (7-9)

(7) DAS GAURANGA-MANTRA IST DER EINZIGE WEG UM KRISCHNA ZU ERREICHEN

Aus dem Sri Navadvipa-dhama-mahatmya, Kap 7, der grosse Heilige Srila Narada Muni unterweist Knig Suvarna Sena:

yei gauranganama labe, tate krsna krpa habe;
vraje vasa seita karibe

gauranga-nama na laiya, yei krsna bhaje giya;
sei krsna bahu kale paya.
gauranga-nama laya jei, sadya krsna paya sei;
aparadha nahi rahe taya.

vrajanatha: sri gauranga yadi saksat paripurna-tattva hailena, tabe tanhara pujara vyavastha ki?

babaji: gauranga-nama mantre gaurapuja karileo yaha haya, krsna-nama-mantre krsna-puja karileo tahai haya. krsna-mantre gaurapuja va gaura-mantre krsnapuja-sakalai eka. ihate je bheda- buddhi kare, se nitanta anabhijna ou kalira dasa.

vrajanatha: channavatarera mantra ki-rupe paoya jaya?

babaji: je tantra prakasya-avataraganera mantra prakasarupe varnana kariyachena, sei tantrei channavatarera mantra channarupe likhiya rakhiyachena. yanhadera buddhi kutila naya, tahara bujhiya laite parena.

(A) KOTI KOTI VARSE kari sri krsna bhajana; tathapi namete rati na paya durjana.

(B) gauranga bhajile dusta bhava dure jaya;
SVALPA DINE vrajadhama radha-krsna paya.

(C) nija siddha-deha paya sakhira asraya;

Gaura Purnima Evening

Nityananda! Gauranga! Hare Krsna!

Dear Swami Gaurangapada and assembled devotees, please accept my simple obiesances.

It is a beautiful night here. It is very odd, frogs are rare here unless near creek beds, but they live in my garden. They are really noisy tonight;))

It is a full moon, the moon is on the horizon and it is a very wonderful golden color tonight!!! I am going outside in the warm night to gaze at the moon and vibrate Nityananda on my Tulsi Mala...

Happy GauraPurnima as you ponder mercy in your lives.

simply...Nava (Neil).

Only Vrindavana Krishna wears the peacock feather

We all heard about Lord Krsna wearing a peacock feather. While in India last I seen Radharani wearing a peacock feather, and I thought to myself this couldnt be right.
Then I saw pictures Gaura Nitai deitys with gaura wearing peacock feather. Gaura Nitai deitys in the mood of sakhya rasa
I've also seen Lord Jagannatha wearing a peacock feather. Jagannatha deitys in the mood of sakhya rasa.

But we have all read Srila Prabhupadas book, and books by the Achayyra which tells us the that beautiful cowherd boy Vrndavan-Krsna is the only one adorned with the peacock feather in the mood of Madhura rasa.

The proof that only Vrndavan krsna wears the peacock feather

Sri Brahma Samhita verse 30-31

Translation:
Always playing the flute,
His eyes like blooming lotus-petals,
His head adorned with a peacock feather,
His beautiful Form the hue of a blue cloud;
with the unique beauty that charms millions of Cupids-
the Primeval Lord, Govinda, do I adore. (30)

Translation:
Around His neck is a garland of forest-flowers swinging to and fro, and adorned with a peacock feather locket; His flute held in hands adorned with jewelled bracelets, He who eternally revels in Pastimes of Love, whose charming threefold curved Form, Syamasundar, is His Eternal Feature- that Primeval Lord Govinda do I adore. Lord Brahma said: My dear Lord, You are the only worshipable Lord, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, and therefore I offer my humble obeisances and prayers just to please You. O son of the king of the cowherds, Your transcendental body is dark blue like a new cloud, Your garment is brilliant like lightning, and the beauty of Your face is enhanced by Your gunja earrings and the peacock feather on Your head. Wearing garlands of various forest flowers and leaves, and equipped with a herding stick, a buffalo horn and a flute, You stand beautifully with a morsel of food in Your hand.

Lord Krishna's hair, powdered with the dust raised by the cows, was decorated with a peacock feather and forest flowers. Wearing a peacock-feather ornament upon His head, blue karnikara flowers on His ears, a yellow garment as brilliant as gold, and the Vaijayanti garland, Lord Krishna exhibited His transcendental form as the greatest of dancers as He entered the forest of Vrindavana, beautifying it with the marks of His footprints. He filled the holes of His flute with the nectar of His lips, and the cowherd boys sang His glories.

His complexion was dark blue and His garment golden. Wearing a peacock feather, colored minerals, sprigs of flower buds, and a garland of forest flowers and leaves, He was dressed just like a dramatic dancer. The peacock feather in His hair appears like a rainbow, and His yellow garments appear like lightning in the sky. Krishna appears like a newly risen cloud, and the gopis appear like newly grown grains in the field. Constant rains of nectarean pastimes fall upon these newly grown grains, and it seems that the gopis are receiving beams of life from Krishna, exactly as grains receive life from the rains.

My dear friend, the luster of Krishnas body is more brilliant than that of a newly formed cloud, and His yellow dress is more attractive than newly arrived lightning. At that time the Lord exhibited a wonderful eight-armed form to the brahmana. In four hands He held a conchshell, disc, club, and lotus flower. In one hand He held a pot of butter from which He ate with another hand. Then with two other hands He played a flute. He was decorated with the mark of Srivatsa, while the Kaustubha gem and a jeweled necklace hung on His chest. All of His limbs were decorated with jeweled ornaments. His head was decorated with a garland of fresh gunja seeds and a peacock feather. His moonlike face was beautified by His red lips. The Lord smiled as He rolled His eyes. His Vaijayanti flower garland and shark-shaped earrings swayed to and fro. His lotus feet were adorned by jeweled ankle bells, and all darkness was dissipated by the shining of His toenails. The brahmana also saw the abode of Vrindavana filled with wonderful kadamba trees and the chirping of various birds. He saw cowherd boys and girls in all directions. Indeed, whatever he had meditated on he saw manifest before him.

Balarama quickly cleaned His own lotus face and that of His younger brother. Then He gently placed a flute in the waist of Krishnas dhoti, a buffalo horn and stick in Krishnas hands, a garland of kadamba flowers around His neck, a peacock-feather ornament on His head, and newly fashioned rings of gunja berries on His ears.

Re: introduction

Dear Nitaai Charan,

Nityaananda ! Gauraanga ! Hare Krishna !

Since I am also on a neophyte stage I would like to share with you something valuable. If you already know about it then please ignore it.

Association of devotees is the key to our enthusiasm in bhakti especially if the association is with pure devotees. At the bottom right of the page there is ' live chat with Swami '. If possible try to be in his association via chat as much as possible atleast for 6 months to one year.

Sincerely,
Mihir.

Dear Nitaai Charan,

          Nityananda Gauranga Hare Krishna! Yes! Today is such an auspicious day to start chanting! You have chosen the best day in the whole universe to start, and we pray that's how your chanting should also be.

          Also there is no need to use caps all the time. Small point, but only for readability's sake.

Your servant,
Srinath
