Re: Gauranga = Radha Madan Mohana, Radha Govinda, Radha Gopinath

1.) What does the gradation of the devotees of Lord Gauranga according to these 3 considerations mean?

Nityaananda! Gauraanga! Hare Krishna! In Gaura Lilaa, all of the Associates of Lords Nitaai Gaura have attained all the three stages Sambandha, Abhidheya and Prayojana. Without attaining Prayojana, one cannot directly associate with the Lord. But even among these Acharyas who have attained Prayojana, there are various levels similar to the levels in the groups of the Gopies or the Gopas of Vraja. Every associate of Lord Gaura understands the heart of Lord Gaura according to his or her constitutional relationship with the Lord. In Vraja, the eight primary Sakhis in Vraja and their Manjari assistants are the most intimate to Shri Shri Radha Krishna and understand Their hearts in the most confidential manner. When these Gopies appear in Gaura Lilaa as Acharyas, they are also become the most intimate associates to Lord Gauraanga Mahaaprabhu. So the degree of intimacy in Gaura Lilaa is directly proportional to that in Krishna Lilaa.

2.) Does it mean, that analogically to Radha-Krishna-Bhakti, one shall take shelter of and worship Lord Gauranga in these 3 steps: sambandha, abhidheya, prayojana? If yes, what are the exact forms of Lord Gaurahari in these 3 considerations, that one can take shelter and meditate of?

This has not been specifically described by any Acharya about Gaura Lilaa. According to my realization, for a devotee in madhurya rasa in Krishna Lilaa, sambandha begins when one accepts Lord Nityaananda as one's life and soul. Abhidheya is achieved when one renders unalloyed devotional service to Lord Gauraanga. And Prayojana is attained when one participates in the pastimes of Shri Shri Gaura Gadaadhara.

Re: questions to Swamiji on phyical symptoms

Nityananda! Gauranga! Hare Krishna! Jaya Shri Guru Parampara! Pranams! Rajib, I am sorry for the delay in replying to your question.

Shallow or infrequent breathing or sleepiness are not exactly any of the spiritual symptoms. In fact, increased spiritual awareness and deep breathing are more spiritual-like symptoms. I would suggest that just ignore these kind of minor symptoms and instead focus seriously on the Mantra Meditation of Nityaananda, Gauraanga and Hare Krishna and you will be able to glimpse the real the spiritual symptoms within a very short time. Thank you.

Daaso'smi, Swami Gaurangapada.

Re: Brahmana and Vaisnava

Nityananda! Gauranga! Hare Krishna! Jaya Shri Guru Parampara! Pranams! Welcome to NITAAI.com, Patel ji. Unfortunately very few of the books and writings of Shrila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Prabhupada have yet been translated into Hindi. By the mercy and preaching of Shrila Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada and his Godbrothers, many devotees are now developing a desire to read and understand the writings of Shrila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Prabhupada and Shrila Sacchidananda Bhaktivinoda Thakura. So I hope many of their books will be translated into various languages soon. I don't think this book may be available in Hindi. You can find the English version here.

Daaso'smi, Swami Gaurangapada.

Re: Grihastha pair and the need of children

Nityaananda! Gauraanga! Hare Krishna! Giving birth and raising Gaura Krishna conscious progeny (at least one) is one of the primary services of the grihastha ashram (devotional household life). Raising a child may seem to "apparently" complicate household life but in fact it helps us to go through the proper purification and tolerance which is to be attained in the practice of the grihastha ashram. It is the part and parcel of the whole package of marriage.

If a devotee couple desires to have intimate sexual relationships in marriage, then they have to take the responsibility to bear at least one child.  If the devotee couple can remain without such relationships and be together only for the purpose of Naama Bhajana and Prachaara (preaching), then it may be ok not to produce children. But that may be difficult to resist or avoid due to the close proximity of husband and wife. Also, it may require a good deal of spiritual advancement on both sides to lead such a life of non-indulgence (kind of celibacy) within marriage.

In regards to marriage, considering the present times, I would suggest the prospective devotee husband and wife know each very well for a period of at least one year or even more is better. In the Vedic times, this was not allowed nor was it required due to the advanced nature of the people in those ages. But nowadays, in the age of Kali Yuga, separations and divorces take place at the drop of a hat and they are highly unconducive to Naama Bhajana due to the emotional tribulations involved. Thus, it is greatly recommended to patiently wait and understand each other for as much time as possible before marriage and firmly determine whether both can stay together for the rest of the lives. Whimsically jumping into marriage without proper thought and patience may lead to unstability later.

Daaso'smi, Swami Gaurangapada.
