Re: Followers of Nitaai Gaura and mixture of rasas
Nityananda! Gauranga! Hare Krishna! Jaya Shri Guru Parampara! Pranams! Shrila Gadadhara Dasa was basically a gopi or in the mood of madhurya rasa or conjugal love in the pastimes of Shri Shri Radha Krishna. Lord Nityaananda Prabhu's mercy and association have the unique power to manifest, intensify, and deepen any of the five relationships the soul can possess towards Lord Krishna. Thus, being an intimate associate of Lord Nitaai, does not necessarily mean that one has to be in mood of friendship or sakhya. In Lord Nitaai's magananimous association, the gopi mood of Shrila Gadadhara Dasa was greatly intensified and that is why Shrila Gadadhara Dasa always remained with Lord Nitaai as His confidential associate.
Shrila Gauridasa Pandita's situation is different. He is in the priya narma (most intimate) group of cowherd boyfriend of Lords Krishna. Only this group of cowherd friends are in full knowledge about and also directly participate in the conjugal pastimes of Shri Shri Radha Krishna in addition to their basic friendship mood with the Lord. So yes, he does relish both the mellows and there many of his friends who also do so. Actually the highest madhurya bhava of Shrimati Radha is so omnipresent in Vraja that all other mellows are imbued or tinged with this shringara rasa and all the other associates in other mellows do experience and relish this shringara to some extent even though they may not directly participate in the conjugal pastimes
Daaso'smi, Swami Gaurangapada.
