Viewing Bhakti Yoga Videos is Most Important

Dear Devotees, Nityananda! Gauranga! Hare Krishna! Jaya Shri Guru Parampara! Pranams!

As I watching a video of my own Parikrama and Katha of Shri Navadvipa Dhaama today, I realized that viewing Bhakti Yoga videos is even more powerful than reading Bhakti Yoga literatures because it includes hearing, seeing, chanting along and even has the same benefits of personal meeting the devotees. When we see an advanced or sincere devotee speaking or singing in a video, we are factually associating with him or her. This association is in no way lesser than the association in person. Viewing videos which involve the reading, speaking or discussion about the Bhakti Yoga Scriptures, is certainly equal to if not more than reading a printed book of the Holy Scriptures.

Of course, the Bhakti Yoga videos should feature katha and kirtana by advanced devotees, scenes from the holy abodes etc. for maximum benefit. It should not involve any recitations or narrations from non-devotees. Thus, I whole-heartedly recommend all devotees to view nice and very devotional videos daily or on a regular basis to adequate nourish one's spiritual life in a very effective and powerful manner This is also quality devotional association or Vaishnava Sanga.

To summarize this post, I would like to delineate the nine principal practical processes of NITAAI Yoga in descending order of importance:

(1) Daily Naama Sankirtana (NITAAI Sankirtana Kriyaa)
(2) Daily Naama Japa (NITAAI Japa Kriyaa)
(3) Daily Viewing of Bhakti Yoga Videos
(4) Daily Reading of Bhakti Yoga Literatures
(5) Daily Worship of Tulasi Plant
(6) Fasting from grain-food on Ekadashi
(7) Association with Advanced Devotees
(8) Deity Worship at Home or Temple
(9)  Visiting Holy Pastime Abodes

We will be concentrating on producing new and inspiring Bhakti Yoga videos and also making them available in a format which can be viewed on telivision sets because in India the common people view videos much more on TV view via their CD/DVD players than on the computer.

Daaso'smi, BR Sadhu Swami Gaurangapada.

Contributing NITAAI Yoga Articles to Google Knol

Dear Devotees, Nityananda! Gauranga! Hare Krishna! Jaya Shri Guru Parampara! Pranams!

Google just opened up Knol, its Wikipedia competitor, for all. It seems that unlike Wikipedia, Knol puts a stronger emphasis on authorship and gives a lttle more freedom than Wikipedia to author and edit an article. They even multiple articles for a specific subject unlike Wikipedia. Also, due to the vast popularity of Google Search, Gmail and other Google Tools, Knol may become a quite extensive and used knowledge database and may even exceed Wikipedia's reach.

I kindly request devotees to author (add) and maintain some basic articles on NITAAI Yoga, Nityaananda and Gauraanga Mantraraajas, Hare Krishna Mahaamantra and our Philosophy of Nitaai Gaura Krishna Consciousness on the Google Knol site at http://knol.google.com. Thank you.

Daaso'smi, BRS Swami Gaurangapada.
