How to attain Sri Radha Govinda?
Nityananda Gauranga Hare Krsna
All glories to Swami Gaurangapada! All glories to Srilla Prabhupada!
In Caitanya Caritamrta, Srilla Krsnadas Kaviraja Goswami describes how he attained mercy of Sri Sri Radha-Krsna:
jaya jaya nityananda, nityananda-rama
ya-hara krpate panu vrndavana-dhama
jaya jaya nityananda, jaya krpamaya
ya-ha haite painu rupa-sanatanasraya
ya-ha haite painu raghunatha mahasaya
ya-ha haite painu sri svarupanasraya
sanatana krpaya painu bhaktira siddhanta
sri rupa-krpaya painu bhakti-rasa-pranta
jaya jaya nityananda-caranaravinda
ya-ha haite painu sri radha-govinda
All glory, all glory to Lord Nityananda Balarama, by whose mercy I have attained shelter in the transcendental abode of Vrndavana. All glory, all glory to the merciful Lord Nityananda, by whose mercy I have attained shelter at the lotus feet of Sri Rupa and Sri Sanatana. By His mercy, I have attained the shelter of the great personality Sri Raghunaha dasa Goswami, and by His mercy I have found the refuge of Sri Svarupa Damodara. Byt the mercy of Sanatana Goswami I have learned the final conclusions of devotional service, and by the grace of Sri Rupa Goswami I have tasted the highest nectar of devotional service. All glory, all glory to the lotus feet of Lord Nityananda, by whose mercy I have attained Sri Radha Govinda. (Caitanya Caritamrta Adi 5.200 - 204)
In his purports Srilla Prabhupada wrote:
"Anyone desiring to become expert in the service of Śrī Śrī Rādhā and Kṛṣṇa should always aspire to be under the guidance of Svarūpa Dāmodara Gosvāmī, Rūpa Gosvāmī, Sanātana Gosvāmī and Raghunātha dāsa Gosvāmī. To come under the protection of the Gosvāmīs, one must get the mercy and grace of Nityānanda Prabhu. The author has tried to explain this fact in these two verses."
Purport CC.Adi.202.
"He also confirms that one cannot understand the loving affairs of Rādhā and Kṛṣṇa without going through the direction of the six Gosvāmīs. In another verse Narottama dāsa Ṭhākura has stated that without the causeless mercy of Nityānanda Prabhu, one cannot enter into the affairs of Rādhā and Kṛṣṇa."
Purport CC.Adi 5.204.
Therefore, if anyone want really to understand, serve and finally attain Sri Sri Radha - Krsna he or she must take shelter of Lord Nityananda by taking shelter of His Name, meditating on His form, hearing His pastimes and serve His devotees. Without causeless mercy of Nityananda Prabhu now one can attain pastimes of Radha and Krsna in Vrindavan.

Shrila Prabhupada in the Center
Nityananda! Gauranga! Hare Krishna! Jaya Shri Guru Parampara! Pranams! There has been lot of discussion about placing Shrila Prabhupada in the Center for solving all problems. I would humbly suggest that we place all our three Prachara Acharyas in the center: Shrila Sacchidananda Bhaktivinoda Thakura, Shrila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Prabhupada, and Shrila Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, according to the desires of Shrila Prabhupada himself.
Shrila Prabhupada desired to have the Deity of his own Gurudeva Shrila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Prabhupada along with his Deity, worshiped in his temples. I suggest that the books, teachings and open-minded non-critical sincere followers of all of these three Acharyas should be given equal respect as they are our principal heritage. No discrimination should be made between the teachings of these three Acharyas and one should not claim that one is higher or more relevant than the other. One should not reject the teachings of any one of these Acharyas in favor of the other or give less importance to the teachings of any one of them. One can accept our father and reject or ignore our grandfather or our great great grandfather. If we emphasize only one of them and ignore the others, then we may end up going a little away from the flow of mercy descending from our Parampara.
Devotees should be instructed to study the teachings of all of these three Acharyas and not just one of them. Shrila Prabhupada wanted all of the books of Shrila Sacchidananda Bhaktivinoda Thakura translated and published for the great benefit of this world. Once when Gaudiya Math had a shortage of resources, Shrila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Prabhupada organized a big Vyasa Puja celebration for Shrila Sacchidananda Bhaktivinoda Thakura on His Appearance Day and the next day immediately all the shortages of resources were miraculously supplied. So all these three great Acharyas and Intimate Associates should be worshiped together in the right mood and Lord Gauranga Krishna will shower His mercy abundantly on us very miraculously in a manner which He has never done before. Yes, believe me or not, there would be miracles if this were to happen. :)
Problems will always be there in this material world but they will be greatly minmized if all these three Acharyas are worshiped together. After the disappearance of Lord Gauranga, the great trinity of Acharyas: Shrila Shrinivasa Acharya Thakura, Shrila Narottama Dasa Thakura and Shrila Shyamananda Pandit advented in this world to spread the mission of the Lord. Similarly, this great trinity: Shrila Bhaktivinoda Thakura, Shrila Bhaktisiddhanta Prabhupada and Shrila Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada have appeared in these modern times on the desire of the Lord to strenghten, establish and effectively spread this same mission. So imho we cannot just give prominence to only one and not to the other two because the mercy descended equally through all three of them.
In my ideal temple (imho), I would personally desire to see worship of the Deities of all three of them and deep studies, discussion, katha and preaching from the books, teachings and writings of all three of them. Devotees can be taught to equally accept, respect and worship all three of them as our primary Shiksha Gurus. We should associate with and give proper respect to the followers and devotees of all these three Acharyas if they are humble, sincere and non-critical minded in whichever group they are situated. We should talk and preach from the holy books and writings of all of these Acharyas and not consider one's teaching higher than the other.
Anyway, these are some of thoughts on this subject which I would like to humbly present to the devotees for thought, deliberation and meditation.
Daaso'smi, Swami Gaurangapada.

Pleased with the New Site
Nityananda! Gauranga! Hare Krishna! Jaya Shri Guru Parampara! Pranams! I am quite pleased that this new blog site at NITAAI.com. It is a perfect combination of speed, ease and features and promotes quick and easy participation among devotees. Thank you so much all of you for your kind participation. There is no difference between the physical association and internet association with devotees because in both cases it is based on the discussion and sharing of Nitaai Gaura Krishna Naam Kirtana and Katha by text, voice and visually (video). Also the personal touch and reciprocation between devotees is also performed on the internet again by text, voice and video. And all this from the very comfort of our homes or wherever we are located.
In the times of Shrila Bhaktivinoda Thakura, Shrila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Prabhupada and Shrila Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, the long distance communication between them and the devotees was done by text letters. We are not fortunate to have their physical presence now on this planet but we can surely share and discuss their teachings in an even more effective manner via the internet with not only text but also via audio and video. Thus, the internet is a gift by Lord Nityaananda for the devotees. He inspired some souls to make the internet in the first place. Thus, we should be grateful to the Lord and use the internet very wisely.
Ofcourse, Maya is ready to catch and possess us at any moment is our lives irrespective of whatever we are doing. So like everything else, internet is also open to potential misuse. Internet is so irresistable nowadays since it is impossible to live without an email address. So it is up to us on how to use it and use it in the Lord's service to understand Him.
Please share your thoughts about this. :)
Daaso'smi, Swami Gaurangapada.

How to lose Weight or Fat
Nityananda! Gauranga! Hare Krishna! Jaya Shri Guru Parampara! Pranams! If our regular Health column, today I would like to given some practical home solutions for obesity which is a chronic problem for many.
(1) Mix some honey in the juice of a ripe lemon and take with a spoon daily.
(2) Dissolve honey in lukewarm water and drink it early in the morning when the stomach is empty. This will melt the fat and even vert fat people are benefitted by this.
(3) Accepting Tulasi leaves offered to the Lord alone or with buttermilk, will lead loss of obesity and excess weight and the body will become properly proportioned. Please remember Tulasi leaves should not be accepted as medicine but only as Mahaprasadam after being offered to the Lord's lotus feet.
(4) Mix around some lukewarm water with 30 gms of lemon juice of ripe lemon and 230 gms of (pure) honey and drink it immediately after eating lunch or dinner. This enables one to lose the excess fat in one or two months.

All glories to Swami Gaurangapada! All glories to Srilla Prabhupada!
In his purport on CC.Antya 3.139 Srilla Prabhupada wrote:
"In our Krishna consciousness movement we are teaching our followers to chant the Hare Krishna mantra continuously on beads. Even those who are not accustomed to this practice are advised to chant at least sixteen rounds on beads so they may be trained.... Sada means 'always.' Haridasa Thakura says nirantara nama lao: 'Chant the Hare Krishna mantra without stopping' " (Cc. Antya 3.139, purport).
So, let us chant in hope that one day we will be able to chant withouth stopping.
