Baby Krishna Holding Balarama's Club?

Nityananda! Gauranga! Hare Krsna!

Today I was chanting jaap of the holy name 'Nityananda'. Following Gurudeva's instruction to have focused chanting I was holding the form of very young baby Krishna in my mind.
I questioned to myself is it ok to chant the holy name of Nityananda while meditating on the form of baby Krishna?

Baby Krishna was lying down. I could see his soft feet and legs, plumpish like a one month old baby! I was wondering what mother Yashoda would feel, enchanted by her new child. And was smiling in my heart to think that at some stage she would see all the universes in his mouth. Contemplating who are you? This was my meditation.

Gazing at his beautiful soft legs I could see golden ankle bells, as the meditation unfolded. Finely made. The gold enhanced the softness and color of his skin. At that point in meditation on Nityananda Naam (around 30 minutes) I desired to gaze at more of the body of Sri Krsna. In meditation, and with hesitation, I continued upward and was amazed!. I could see baby Krishna's left hand playing with a club. The club was small like a baby's toy. The club was golden, finely made...its end was a round ball bedecked with jewels. Balarama's club.

I could not understand the meaning of this. But felt assured in my heart that it is ok to chant Nityananda-Balarama's name while meditating on the form of baby Krishna.

Later in the day I mentioned this jaap experience to Bhakta Matus. Matus explained that GauraKrishna is pleased when we chant the holy name of Nityananda. And that this was Krishna's way of showing you His pleasure that you were chanting Nitaai's holy name.

Matus Prabhu's gracious explanation rings true with the meditation of my heart. And increases my faith in Nityananda Naam.
