Lakshmi-priya dd loses her son

Nityananda! Gauranga! Hare Krishna! Jaya Shri Guru Parampara! Pranams! I have just received news that Nitaipada Maharaja's disciple, Lakshmi-priya devi dasi lost her son in an accident who was trying to be a devotee and also aspiring for initiation from Nitaipada Maharaja. It is one of the hardest moments to lose one's son. But I understand that she has accepted it very stoically with proper philosophical understanding with the help and support of Nitaipada Maharaja.

I will certainly pray to Lord Nitaai for a spiritual destination for his soul and pray that she accepts and understands it as the desire of the Lord. I request all the devotees to pray and chant for her son's soul. I have suggested that she read Shoka Shatana by Shrila Bhaktivinoda Thakura which describes the pastime of Shrila Shrivasa Thakura losing his son and how he accepted it and became free of all grief.
