Travel to Puri Dhaam becomes cheaper


Nityananda! Gauranga! Hare Krishna! Jaya Shri Guru Parampara! Pranams! Shri Jagannatha Puri Dhaam is just one hour drive from Bhubaneswar, the capital of the East Indian state of Orissa. IndiGo domestic airlines has started cheaper flights to Bhubaneswar from India's metro cities.

Bhubaneswar , Nov 16: IndiGo, the Indian low-fare domestic airline, has decided to operate flights connecting Orissa's capital city Bhubaneswar with three major cities in the country from tomorrow.

The cities that IndiGo will connect with Bhubaneswar on a daily basis are Delhi , Hyderabad and Bangalore.

Bhubaneswar will become the 16 th destination in IndiGo's network.

Promoted by InterGlobe Enterprises, IndiGo is already operating around 100 daily flights flying to destinations such as Agartala,

Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Goa, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Imphal, Jaipur, Kochi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Nagpur, Pune and Vadodara.

The airline that commenced its operations in August last year has 14 aircrafts at present. It is planning to add one more aircraft to its fleet by end of the year.

The flight from Bhubaneswar to Delhi would take off at 7.10 pm and to Hyderabad and Bangalore at 11.35 am.

The flights for Bhubaneswar from Delhi will take off at 8.55 am, from Bangalore at 3.30 pm and from Hyderabad at 5.20 pm.

The airline would introduce new connectivity from Bhubaneswar to Mumbai and Kolkata in December and to Chennai in January, travel agency sources said here on Friday.

The introductory fare from Bhubaneswar to Delhi is Rs.1499 ($38), Hyderabad Rs.799 ($20) and Bangalore Rs.999 ($25). These exclude the applicable taxes.

Bhubaneswar-based Swosti Travels is providing services on IndiGo to different destinations.
