Re: Why do we need Guru?


Nityananda ! Gauranga ! Hare Krishna !

I have always had the desire to have a guru. However I feel very guilty to get initiated. It is said that while initiation the spiritual master accepts all our sins on Him. This is one the reasons why I don't want to get initiated as I don't want such a great representative of Lord Gaura Krishna to take my sins on Him. What you think, am I thinking correctly or I should surrender to guru ?
