In this iron age we focus is on Mahaprabhu and His mission of hari nama sankirttan, this means spreading the name of Sri Gauranga, Of course we greatly respect Lord Ram and others, And observe Their appearance. A real fast would be from sun rise to sun rise, but we only do that on Ekadasi.

Prabhupada put great emphasis on Lord Ram etc. as they are  favorite of Indians so in the India and in the West these are great big festivals.

Even deitys of Lord Ram in one of the English Hare Krsna temples. When I stayed at the manor from 1974-76 there were no Lord Ram deitys.
