Re: Falldown and avoiding offenses

Nityaananda! Gauraanga! Hare Krishna! Thank you for this improtant verse. I have explained it previously. In this verse, "avishraanti" means non-stop without cessation. Shrila Sacchidananda Bhaktivinoda Thakura explains it as chanting the Hare Krishna Mahaamantra day and night without any cessaton or distractions, leaving out only the time for basic bodily necessities, in order to attain factual success in the chanting of Shuddha Hari Naama. But, very few souls in this world can perform this "avishraanti prayuktaani" chanting due to a lack of taste in the Naama Rasa due to the obstacles in the heart. In such a hopeless condition, Nityaananda Gauraanga Naama come to the rescue of the tasteless chanter, and quickly reawaken hope and spiritual relish and realization in the Hare Krishna Mahaamantra.

Daaso'smi, Swami Gaurangapada.
