Re: What is NITAAI Yoga?

Nityaananda! Gauraanga! Hare Krishna! I have further edited and refined the original post on "NITAAI Yoga" and removed the small errors while adding some colors. A new paragraph has been added which is as below:

NITAAI Yoga can also be performed by NITAAI Praana Kriyaa which is deep breathing or anuloma and viloma of the NITAAI and GAURA Mantras. One cycle of NITAAI Kriyaa comprises of two breaths as follows. Mentally chant "NI" while inhaling and "TAAI" while exhaling during the first breath and "GAU" while inhaling and "RA" while exhaling during the next second breath. NITAAI Lekhana Kriyaa or writing the Sanskrit syllables of NITAAI and GAURA in air or paper is also a form of NITAAI Yoga. NITAAI Traataka Kriyaa or meditating on the Sanskrit Syllables of the Mantras or the Divine Forms of NITAAI and GAURA in the form of a Photo or Deity is another method of NITAAI Yoga. NITAAI Sangita Kriyaa is a meditational and musical singing and dancing process accompanied by the melodious hearing or repeating of the NITAAI, GAURA and HARE KRISHNA Mantras. And, finally NITAAI Japa Kriyaa is the chanting of the three Mantras on a holy Tulasi maalaa of 108 beads. One can perform any number of these NITAAI Kriyaa cycles during the day and feel the unlimited bliss of NITAAI Yoga. The most powerful Hare Krishna Mahaamantra is chanted in the form of Japa Kriyaa Meditation on beads and also sung while playing mridanga or an elongated barrel clay drum with different diameter heads along with karataalas or cymbals.

Daaso'smi, Swami Gaurangapada.
