Vrindavana yatra part 2
Respected Swamiji and all Vaisnavas,
Nityananda! Gauranga! Hare Krishna!
Jaya Visnupada Srila Prabhupada!
Jaya Visnupada Swami Gaurangpada!
All glories to the guru parampara!
All glories to the Vaisnavas!
With your mercy I continue to post the Vraja yatra photos continuing from the last post.
The next two images are those of the tree from where Lord Krishna stole the garments of the gopis! The place of the Vastra Harana Lila -- next to the Yamuna river.
A shot of the tree itself. Near zero light -- almost pitch black.
This is a view of the Banka Bihari Temple. The deity was worshipped by Swami Haridas. They keep closing and opening darshan alternately every few minutes to stop the Lord from leaving they say!
The next day morning -- the bushes.
One of the ghatas at the Yamuna.
The locals are so fortunate to have residence in Vrindavana. Just note the very fine sand -- many interesting things can be seen in Vrindavana
Boating along the Yamuna river.
I think the above place is Kaliya Ghata (where he subdued the Kaliya snake. Or is it the Kesi Ghata?
Can anyone confirm which temple is this?
Another shot of the Ghata, and I think that is the Radha Madana Mohana temple vimana in the background.
Aarati Ghata from where Aarati is performed to the Yamuna every day.
Another temple vimana
Looking back from where we came
Which temple is this?
Just one of the innumerable monkeys in Vrindavana! End of the Yamuna boat ride!
More to come in subsequent posts. Thank you very much for your patience to go through the photos!
Aspiring to be your sevant,
Srinath
