All Video Formats Supported and Blip.tv & YouTube.com Recommended

Dear Devotees, Nityananda! Gauranga! Hare Krishna! Jaya Shri Guru Parampara! Pranams!  I am happy to announce that using a combination of Javascript, Silverlight, Flash and XML Search technology, our NITAAI Yoga Video Player is finally able to play all the WMV, MP4, FLV, MOV and YouTube videos now. The NITAAI Yoga Videos Playlist is under construction right now and it will display and play all our videos up until now whichever format they are in. I hope we can concentrate soon on producing new videos on a daily basis, once all the older videos are in one place. Instead of a tree layout for the playlist, I have chosen the layout with video thumbnails. The Find-As-You-Type Search with dropdown Categories is the highlight of the Video player.

Devotees who want to record or submit new spiritual videos to be included in this NITAAI Yoga Video Player, can ideally record in WMV (VC1) format using SuperVideoCap (webcam) or Movie Maker (handycam) etc. and create a free account on Blip.tv and upload the original wmv file and paste the direct wmv url as a new post in the Videos by Devotees Forum. You can also upload mp4 or mov videos to your Blip account. Or you can upload your videos directly on YouTube and embed your videos in the

Videos by Devotees

Forum. Either way, we will then include them in the NITAAI Yoga Video Player. If your videos are on other video sharing sites, then a direct link to flv or mp4 or wmv for each video will be required to add them to our Player. If there is no direct video download link available, then it will be not be possible to add them to our Player. That is why we recommed you to use Blip.tv or YouTube.com.

Daaso'smi, BRS Swami Gaurangapada.
