Re: The Process of NITAAI Yoga Summarized
Nityaananda! Gauraanga! Hare Krishna! A new paragraph has been added to NITAAI Japa Kriyaa which is given below. The original essay (post) on the nine kinds of NITAAI Yoga has been almost completed with new additions and language corrections. It will now be in added into in the original essay of NITAAI Yoga in our NITAAI.com home page. Then, this original NITAAI Yoga essay will be edited by an expert English editor for language corrections. After that, manual translations can be done into various languages and if Lord Nitaai desires, it will be published as a small booklet or handout in a few languages. Please let me know if you or anyone you know can help us with proof-reading and editing the original English article. He or she should be quite proficient in English with editorial experience and ideally have English as one's first language.
I am personally quite satisfied that broadly all the important Angas (limbs) of Bhakti are included in these nine Bhakti Kriyaas of NITAAI Yoga known as NITAAI Kriyaas. A new person should now be easily able to grasp how NITAAI Yoga is practically performed, simply by reading these nine Kriyaas. I will be writing detailed essays on each of these nine Kriyaas which photos, animations and videos. Your comments and feedback are welcome and could still be included at this stage in the original essay.
Kriyaa means the dynamic activity of the soul in relation to God. The word Kriyaa is mentioned in the first canto of Shrimad Bhagavatam (vaasudeva paraa kriyaa). These nine NITAAI Kriyaas are Bhakti or Devotional Kriyaas which are pleasing to the Lord not the dry Kriyaas of Hatha Yoga. Naama Bhakti Yoga is active not passive. One cannot say that one loves God if one is not willing to practically serve and attain Him by practicing at least one of the nine forms of devotional service.
The word "Kriyaa" enables NITAAI Yoga to be a spiritually scientific and universal process for the soul, not a religion or a cult. NITAAI Yoga is the Kriyaa (dynamic activity) of the soul. It comprises of those actions (Kriyaas) which are the means to attain the Supreme Lord Gauraanga Krishna.
Daaso'smi, BRS Swami Gaurangapada.
