I have enjoyed reading this post very much, it is very relevant to all who have associations with others. I have heard this message in other ways when it applies to other circumstances, but the core is the same. One must not allow bad associations, regardless of the relationship (be it familial or friendly) to pollute your life. Painful as it may be sometimes a line must be drawn.
