Re: Prabhupada Gita For Mobile
Nityananda! Gauranga! Hare Krishna!
Thank You very much for this resource. i tried it out and i like it. i put it on my old Sony Ericsson K300i mobile. The whole Gita consists of many .jar-files (JAVA executables) standing for the several chapters, not only of one file as i expected... These files have to be uploaded to my mobile one by one. But it's ok, i think it was done intentionally so that one does not have to upload it whole only the chapter(s) which one like, or is reading currently. This mobile Gita application offers also useful additional functionality like: autoscrolling, search, bookmarking, font selection, goto option. These are being called by pressing a certain number of the phone keys. Otherwise the format is quite simple, just unformatted text. Each chapter of the Gita is simply one long page, consisting of the transliterated verses, verse-to-verse translation, translation and purport, so as we know it from Shrila Prabhupada's books...
So this is like it looks like on my SE K300i phone. Please let me know if somebody of You tried as well, how You experience it and how it looks like on Your side?
Yours in service,
Matus
