Re: Vyasa Puja Dec 1 2008
Oh Vaisnavas!
Nityananda Gauranga Hare Krishna! Please accept my repeated obeisances again and again!
What a beautiful poem! The entire ocean of Lord Nitaai's manifest pastimes has been summarised in such wonderful, beautiful fashion. Precise and sweet! Your composition is sooooooo wonderful! While reading it I realise your exalted position and I humbly offer all my prostrated reverential obeisances! It is exquisite beauty at its best and I have no words. Any Vaisnava will weep tears of love and ecstasy on reading this poem.
Please do not consider your composition to be limited in any way. This is far far better than all the so called great poetry that has been written by mundane authors. It is the perfect offering to the guru on his Vyasa Puja and we couldn't have asked for anything better. It makes me feel ashamed of myself that I am not being sincere in my attempts to serve the guru. I read it again and again and again and every time I feel it bringing me closer and closer to the Lord.
What more can I say? Even my attempt to describe it in words is never going to even tell you a bit of its glories. Nitaai is there in this poem top to bottom. I am fortunate to have the association of great disciples of Swamiji like yourself. I am now going to permanently note down this poetry in my personal diary and will always keep it in my heart where the Lord resides. Whenever I am bitter from the horrible experiences of mundane life this poem will inspire me to keep on trying to keep serving the devotees and the lord, even if I make a million mistakes.
I pray for your blessings. You are an outstanding example of service and devotion to the guru and Vaisnavas! Jaya Nitaaai! I only remember this sentence spoken by Lord Nitaai that sums it all, "Nimai Pandita of Nadia is my Lord and Master!"
Overwhelmed and deeply moved,
Daaso'smi
Srinath
