Re: how to defeat the Atheist

Dear Vaisnavas,

Nityaananda! Gauraanga! Hare Krishna! Please accept my respectful obeisances!

Please, once before I requested everyone to check their sources, now I request again. Please go through the articles you want to put up, and if you have difficulty in English or other languages, there are always your humble servants on the forum ready to help you out. Actually the forum is very strict and moderates even slightly sharp or blunt posts so that they are not critical, accusative or shocking. Therefore I pray that this article be not tolerated and removed as soon as possible as it is really beyond edition. Bhaktatommy prabhu is correct and he has pointed it out very gently.

Now coming to the topic itself.....

Mundane logic is really useless and dry. Scriptural logic can defeat the atheistic philosophy, but proof of the pudding lies in the eating. Don't we feel pity for those souls who are bewildered and pray for their deliverance? Atheism evolved out of a combination of corrupted and imperfect philosophies in the name of religion and lack of direct experience. The former has caused far more harm than the latter and has done great harm to the devotional nature within the people. All the atheistic people are unaware of genuine religious philosophies. Many of these people have also not known real love and they are frustrated by being repeatedly cheated. Apart from this, others are simply envious. This is an age old problem and it will remain as long as the universe exists.  In the second post in this thread, the best possible reply has been given. Mahaprabhu's sankirtana is the most powerful tool. When the atheists are confronted with nama sankirtana and the spiritual potency of the Vaisnavas, all their logical arguments dry up and simply seeing great devotees can give them sufficient shock. They do not have any direct experience, so we should expose them to sankirtana, to prasadam, to real unconditional love, to real happiness, to perfect siddhanta and we should inspire them that way!!

Servant of your servant,
Srinath

Nityananda! Gauranga! Hare Krishna!
