Awareness of the Mind and Thoughts
Know yourself and what�s happening to you.
In the Gita it says we have five gross senses, which are further explained as twenty four elements.
We have subtle senses mind, intelligence, and false ego.
then the soul proper.
When we start chanting the holy names, sometimes some may get on the subtle level (mental level), this where the problem starts as we may not be to handle it. Who can we turn to for advice.
I found out the way is to protect yourself if your really serious is to always have with you your japa mala, small book to fit in your pocket or bag, a mp3 player or CD player, and lastly some prasadam.
This is your survival pack never be without it.
When you have thoughts coming to your mind then be aware of them.
Chant in your mind, read, or listen to Nitai Krsna Chaitanya nectar.
If you get tired of reading then chant or listen to mp3.
Whatever you don't listen to the mind.
