Just Choose the Lord!

Dear Vaisnavas,

        Nityananda Gauranga Hare Krishna! Please accept my respectful obeisances!

        In the beginning we hesitate to fully accept the Lord because spiritual life is something we have never done before and we have the fear of walking through uncharted territory. But when a guru comes in and shows the way, it is no longer unknown and one can see what a heart-stopping beautiful path bhakti-yoga really is. When we follow the guru, we are absolutely in safe hands and that makes all the difference between the easy success of a devotee and the painful failure of others.

        The mantrarajas are so merciful that within no time they bring you right to the doorstep of the Lord and then into His wonderful home. When one simply chants Nityananda! Gauranga! and then Hare Krishna! so many things follow that within a short time, the Lord starts prodding us from within, "Come! Come! Just choose me and just let go of all that imagination!", the feeling making us realize that it's no more difficult than taking a small pill with water. We are at the edge of the pool and all we have to do is jump!

        Out of imaginary fears and thoughts we hesitate to jump, instead getting lost in our imaginary little happiness and thoughts. But we just have to let go of that and jump! That tiny imaginary happiness will not torture us or cause any pain; it will fade away like a deflated balloon and at that time we realize how powerless and weak it really was -- just air and no power. And then we just so simply continuously chant the names and surrender to Him and His devotees, who are just waiting for that moment when we jump, and then....we're through and the Lord awaits us in a life of unimaginable bliss and love! It's that simple!

        The mantrarajas and guru make it easier than taking a gulp of water. So don't hesitate friends, just jump and abandon those puny thought balloons and be happy! We can do it so easily, no need to even think! It's in our hands like never before! NOTHING ELSE! JUST DO IT! IT'S THAT SIMPLE!
