        Nityananda! Gauranga! Hare Krishna! Please accept my humble obeisances!

        Welcome to this humble and sacred sangha. My name is Srinath. Personally I am apporaching 20 years of age and we are very happy to see that so many souls are taking up the process of naam sankirtana at very young ages. I know atleast 6-7 others personally who have also accepted this process of chanting Nityananda Gauranga and Hare Krishna, all teenagers themselves.

         At the age of 15 you are so fortunate to have experienced Lord Nitaai's boundless mercy for the first time you saw His deity. I too look back and regret now that I was not five years younger as that was a very crucial time of development when I had more opportunity to get involved in devotion. However my development started only around that time before which I honestly admit I had no idea of any real religion or philosophy and did not even know who Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu was or that Mahaprabhu spread Krishna bhakti.

         I met the devotees on this forum almost a year back and they were so merciful to have overlooked my innumerable wretched qualities and show me the path to the Lord with so much love and devotion. Inspite of all my attitude problems and mistakes they only showed more mercy and encouraged me further. I do not know where I would be today if the spiritual vani of our acaryas and then the live association of the pure Vaisnavas here had not found me at the nick of time. I would have rotted away and become a typical person of my age, full of nonsense and vulgarity.

         Dear Charan, the period from 12-20 years is a very crucial time as it is during this period that the full impact of material consciousness begins to suddenly manifest itself like a sleeping snake jostled awake. The numerous physical and mental changes that people go through is the direct manifestation of this awakening of material consciousness and we see the various difficulties faced by adolescents at this stage as they become overwhelmed by this surge and it takes some years to return to normalcy. Our ego too has a tendency to bloat high during this stage.  But if you take to the process of devotional service, you can instead use that energy in the spiritual direction and make huge amounts of progress during this period and you can become very spiritually advanced by the time you are past this period. This will help you out for the rest of your life. When we lay the foundation early we can kick illusion away before it has a chance to influence us. So you are a fortunate soul to have developed a nice and humble attitude at this early age when your peers may find interest in illusory things.

        Yes the devotees on the forum will definitely guide you to Lord Nitaai Gaura's beautiful lotus feet that are the ultimate treasure of all their devotees if you just give them room to enter with humility and a favourable attitude and follow their instructions. As for your other question, you are right. It is indeed possible to attain Nitaai Gaura in this lifetime. Not only in this lifetime, but in a few days itself! That's right. Our acaryas have promised us that those who surrender to the merciful names of Nityananda and Gauranga and then chant the name of Krishna will achieve the Lord in a very few days itself. That is a big promise and not for nothing do we stake everything on the mantrarajas and the maha-mantra.
You can see Nitaai Gaura in a few days itself. Of course it also has to do with our attitude too. If we are very favourable, it is all the more faster. But even then the names of Nitaai Gaura don't even bother if a person chants them with or without faith. Anyone who chants Nityananda Gauranga, our acaryas are willing to seek that person's association and prema (love of Godhead comes seeking after that person). In no other time has such an opportunity been offered and there will never be such an opportunity such as this. We are fortunate to worship such a merciful Lord by surrendering to his even more merciful devotees. Nitaai Gaura Premanande!

       There are indeed devotees on this forum who have attained that perfection that you desire and so you can become perfect too.

       We consider ourselves fortunate to have the association of souls who are sincerely interested in chanting the holy names of the Lord despite every single limitation, especially those who have accumulated unlimited spiritual credit to be able to get such interest so spontaneously and so soon.  We are always ready to be of any service to you and you may discuss anything with us. Please open your heart out and treat us as your friends. Guruji Swami Gaurangapada and the devotees on nitaai.com sangha feel pained when they see that the common people have little or no idea of such merciful Lordships like Gaura Nitai, the topmost forms of the Lord. We are always waiting for these opportunites to serve the conditioned souls and we are absolutely delighted when we see that even one person is coming forward to take this opportunity in this Kali Yuga where it is so rare. If we can succeed in making just one person a pure devotee, then we consider all our efforts to be truly a success.

       Having introduced yourself to the sangha, it is my sincere request that you go through the other introductions of other devotees who joined this sangha previously under the topic "Introduce yourself". The new-comers have all gone on to be highly successful in their devotional life and services and are advancing very nicely. And so can you.
