What is really there in the Lord's heart

me: It has been problematic. It's mayavadi season here...And I have been sort of dragged to hear. But even there I asked the Lord where those people really stood....and so many realizations came

Swami: WOnderful

me: For one thing, mayavadis are so far impersonalistic that the only thing separating them from dead matter is the basic fact that the soul is spiritual and has consciousness always. They experience just that much of consciousness. They are so far away from the spiritual world, that all they can realize is just a big display of chit shakti -- the outer effulgence of the spiritual world

Even the effulgence is spiritual and so they experience some of it, But not more. They think they are going very close to the Lord so much that they will merge into him and establish oneness, but in truth they are really very very far away from the Lord.

The chatuh sloki bhagavatam is the origin of all spiritual knowledge .. And its very first verse is like realization of the Lord from the 'very wide angle' shot. And then the Bhagavatam zooms in further and further. The realization of Sridhara during Lord Gauranga's maha prakasha lila is the entire purport of the chatur shloki Bhagavatam itself! Why? Because of this :

The chauth shloki bhagavatam contains the full Srimad Bhagavatam and fully elaborates on the three pillars of the Lord's teachings: sambandha, abhideya and prayojana tattvas. The 4 verses first start teaching sambandha tattva, proceed to abhideya and culminate in prayojana.

Sambandha: the living entity's eternal relationship with Supreme Personality of Godhead.
Abhidheya: The living entity's understanding of this relationship and acting accordingly.
Prayojana: the ultimate goal of life: Love of Godhead.

Actually in the heart of the Lord...there is only Himself! Ultimately He loves Himself, but He does it in a most astounding way as though he loves another person.

So He becomes two...He becomes Radha Krishna and He becomes Lord Gauranga and He also expands Himself continuously with all His expansions serving Him.  That was actually something to do with Sridhara's realization of Lord Gauranga. He was first saying, "You are everything." Then He says, "Everything is your devotee." So I read what you wrote...still it was not clear

Then the Lord showed me...On the Absolutely infinite scale...It's only the Lord who exists. Since nothing really can exist independently without Him. On the big scale it is only He who really exists , since everything 'else' is a part of Him. His existence is the big existence in which all other existences are included. When they say that the Lord does everything, its because His activity is the super big activity in which all other activities are included. That is oneness.

But then when you look more closer...there's more to Him than just one big piece of consciousness

He has many varieties of existence in Him. From the infinite to the infinitesimal and when one goes down further...we see that He has parts and parcels.

Hadai: yes

The Lord is the basis of all existance. And yes so everything is the Lord and everything is serving the Lord. There is no difference and there is a difference...substancially there is no difference

me: When you look closely...All the parts and parcels have varieties ... And there is a difference between the infinitesimal soul and the Lord

Hadai: however there is a multicolored varieity

me: Although the soul is a part of the Lord, it has only an atomic particle's worth of power

Hadai: to make the One into Many and Many are the One

me: And then when you look even closely

Everything is engaged in serving the original source of sources

Hadai: yes and why?

me: At all levels

The Lord serves Himself

Hadai: there is only one reason for all this arrngement

me: So that serving tendency is there in the souls too

Hadai: it is: LOVE

me: YES! YES!

Hadai: So all the Lords activities are arrangements for LOVE...ever expanding Love

me: So ultimately He loves Himself and so all His parts and parcels also Love...He is the object of love and also the person who loves

Hadai: Yes and He creates parts that are independent

me: Both the devotee and the objects of devotion...And to make love possible He gives independence to His parts and parcels

Hadai: so they can participoate with the same Love that He intends.... same wavelength again Srinath!

me: Right from the largest infinite scale to the smallest infinitesimal scale, He loves Himself

Hadai: Yes that is the absolute view

me: So ultimately..in His heart there is only Himself...And since we are a part of Him we are all included in that

Hadai: Yes and no

me: So it is yes and no

Hadai: from His point of view there is 'the other'

me: from oneness it is yes and from difference it is no...Yes

Hadai: although Himself

me: because without two we cannot have love. So although He is one, He makes Himself Two

Hadai: is independent...and has the smae free will

me: So He is one and Many...all one but also totally independent

Hadai: therefore He comes under the 'control' of the love of His devotees

me: Pendulums are swinging everywhere! smile smile

Hadai: Ultimately...he is under the control Himself...but He gives that away to His devotees

me: That also explains though...Why His love is ever expanding...That's its nature...Because its arranged the way it is

Hadai: YES

me: So that is why Sridhara ultimately says that everything is ultimately engaged in serving the Lord

Hadai: He and everything He does is so Supremely Beautiful...it is beyond our wildest imaginations and that to the power of infinite...yes if we want it or not we are serving

me: He took a 'snapshot' of the Lord right from the Absolutely wide angle to zooming in to all the intricate details, right smile

Daaso'smi,
Srinath

NITAAI Yoga Presents NITAAI Kriyaa for Health and Wealth By His Holiness B.R. Sadhu Swami Gauranga

NITAAI Kriyaa for Health and Wealth
  ~ NITAAI Yoga Presents ~
By His Holiness B.R. Sadhu Swami Gaurangapada

The holy Vedic sound and rthymical breathing of the most powerful NITYAANANDA (NITAAI) and GAURAANGA (GAURA) Mantras is the supreme foundation of NITAAI Kriyaa. It is the divine medicine and cure for even incurable diseases. It is our healer, solver and protector on all our mental, physical, emotional and spiritual levels. It is the harbinger of both material and spiritual wealth, prosperity, success and fame. It removes all kinds of problems, stress, depression and obstacles in our life. It increases our efficiency and memory. It awakens our full potential, well-being, inner peace and love and brings us unending joy.

NITAAI Kriyaa silences our inner turmoil and causes our mind to become healthy and pleasant as it experiences deep rest due to the infusion of the maximum amount of oxygen to the cells in the brain and all over our body along with the sound of the most powerful Mantras. NITAAI Kriyaa synchronizes the rthym of our breath with the rthym of our being by the infusion of the divine sound of the Mantra. Thus, every cell in our body becomes rejuvenated, aware and alive and flushes itself of all the stored toxins and negative emotions from our past. It is also very effective for creating a calm mental state to promote restful sleep or for activities requiring focused attention. Therefore, NITAAI Yoga not only relieves us from all our ailments and diseases, but we will finally experience the real love and eternal joy directly from our soul.

NITAAI Kriyaa vibrates positive energy which changes even the unchangeable and impending results of our karma, for our own good. You can also perform it in advance to ensure your future success. The more regularly you do it, the more quickly you will get your desired results. Make a wish while audibly vibrating these two divine Mantras and if your wish is sincere, it will come true. It also stops our painful cycle of birth and death. It is not just the sacred means but also our goal for attaining everything we desire.

There are no rules or conditions. NITAAI Kriyaa is performed by four simple methods.

(1) The first method of NITAAI Praana Kriyaa is the deep Mantra breathing pranayama as we alternately close our right and left nostrils with our fingers. First close the right nostril by gently placing your thumb below your nasal bone on the right side and inhale the divine sound of "NI" from the left nostril. Then close the the left nostril by gently placing your last two fingers below the nasal bone on the left side and exhale the divine sound "TAAI" from the right nostril. Then, keeping the right nostril open, inhale the divine sound "GAU" from the right nostril and finally close the right nostril while exhaling the divine sound "RA" from the left nostril. This two Mantric inhalations and exhalations complete one cycle of NITAAI Kriyaa.  Ideally, the time of inhalation and exhalation should be in the ratio 1:2.

You can repeat this NITAAI Kriyaa cycle according to your comfort and convenience at any time during the day, preferably when your stomach is not very full with food. This method can be further strengthened by synchronizing your Mantric inhalation and exhalation while playing in the background, the Mantra breathing audio of His Holiness BRS Swami Gaurangapada, the Founder Guru of the NITAAI Kriyaa.

During the Mantric inhalation, the air and the sound of the Mantra should enter your chest first and then into your abdomen, which should expand. While exhaling, contract your abdomen first and then let the chest contract itself without any force. Basically, it should be abdominal breathing and there should be no stress on the chest region.

(2) The second method of NITAAI Japa Kriyaa is the easiest and most effective and can thus be performed by anyone anywhere. You have to simply use your tongue to audibly vibrate, sing or hear the divine sound of the two full Mantras NITYAANANDA and GAURAANGA, for a fixed amount of time or quantity daily, to instantly experience the full benefits. You can optionally use a rosary of 108 Holy Basil beads in order to also purify your sense of touch while vibrating NITYAANANDA and GAURAANGA. The most important thing in this method is to clearly pronounce and externally hear the divine sound of the Mantras.

(3) The third method of NITAAI Shvaasa Kriyaa is as follows. During your normal breathing with both nostrils, simply breathe the divine sound of "NI" in and "TAAI" out and then the divine sound of "GAU" in and "RA" out. Again, these two breaths complete one cycle of NITAAI Kriyaa. Without straining your breath, you can breathe as many cycles you like during walking, talking, eating, relaxing and even sleeping and feel the great difference.

(4) The fourth method of NITAAI Lekhana Kriyaa is the powerful method of Mantra visualization and vibration. You have to use your index finger to write the Sanskrit syllables of the Mantras "NITAAI" and "GAURA" in the sky in front of you while audibly vibrating or playing the audio of the divine sound of NITAAI and GAURA in synchronization with your writing. You have to visualize the shape of the Sanskrit syllables with your mental eye as you are writing in the sky with your forefinger. Since the sky is an infinte canvas, you can write the Mantras in the sky at any size which makes you concentrate better. This method promotes deep meditation and healing.

You can begin NITAAI Kriyaa by performing the methods 1,2 and 4 for five or ten minutes each daily and slowly increase their duration and number of times in a day. Methods 2 and 4 can right away be performed in any quantity or duration at any time during the day or night even while performing your day to day activities. You have to increase the duration of methods 1 and 3 gradually as they are connected with your breath. Method 2 should never be left out as it is the divine sound of the two Mantras which will reward you with all the benefits.

For even quicker results, call +91-9668051059 (India) today to directly receive the free NITAAI Kriyaa Initiation Secret from His Holiness B.R. Sadhu Swami Gaurangapada in your right ear on the phone and start breathing and vibrating the spiritual sound of the NITAAI Kriyaa in order to start experiencing these and many more benefits!

Disclaimer: NITAAI Kriyaa is not a substitute for the medical treatment of your diseases nor should it be used to escape from performing your own endeavors for success in life. Although the NITAAI Kriyaa is the fully Vedic, safe and sureshot solution which awards only positive benefits with no side (or negative) effects at all, we are not responsible or liable in any way for any lack of results or negative results, you might experience. You are free to start and stop this practice at any time you wish. It is free and it is your call.

At a later stage, you can also take up the vibrating of the the Hare Krishna Mahaamantra: Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare, Hare Raama Hare Raama Raama Raama Raama Hare Hare.

(GERMAN) 10.

Re: Prayers to Shrimati Jahnava devi

It is the Mantra of Lord Nitaai who is very dear Shrimati Jahnava so Shrimati Jahanva's mercy is certainly present in this 12 syllable Mantra glorified in the Brahmanda Purana. It is klim deva... not klim devi...

Nityananda Gauranga Hare Krsna
All glories to Swami Gaurangapada!
All glories to Srilla Prabhupada!

Dear Gurudeva, I just found that mantra that I am  sometimes chant as you adviced klim devi jahnavi vallabhaya svaha is not mantra for Jahnavi devi but for Lord Nityananda Prabhu.

So now i am confused: I chanted this mantra and meditated about Jahnavi devi. After sometime verses of this poem came to my hearth. And it is not mantra of Jahnavi devi? Is this all just my mental speculation?

Thank you so much.

Adhivasa from Pada Kalpa Taru

Pada Kalpa Taru
The desire Tree of songs
John Beames

From Krishna Kathamrita Bindu 206
Madhavananda dasa, www.gopaljiu.org

Although he is not a major historical figure, John Beames
(1837 - 1902) played an important role in India. The
eldest son of Rev. Thomas Beames, a preacher of St.
Jamess Church, Piccadilly, London, John Beames was
an author and served as a civil servant in British India
from 1859 to 1893. He was also a scholar of Indian his-
tory, literature and linguistics, and was conversant with
a number of Indian languages, including Sanskrit. He
wrote a book entitled, A Comparative Grammar of the
Modern Aryan Languages of India: to wit, Hindi, Panjabi,
Sindhi, Gujarati, Marathi, Oriya and Bangali, which was
published in 3 volumes between 1872-1879.

Perhaps his most significant contribution was in the
late 1860s when a group of Bengali intellectuals and
civil servants with political motivations tried to claim
that the Oriya language was inferior and a mere cor-
ruption of Bengali. Based on this, they proposed that
Oriya studies should be banned from schools in Orissa
and replaced with Bengali. Mr. Beames studied both
languages closely and supported Oriya as a separate
and more ancient language than Bengali. His support
was instrumental in preserving the Oriya language.
He is thus known amongst scholars as perhaps the
best face of British colonialism in Orissa.

What follows is from an article Mr. Beames wrote in
1873 entitled, Chaitanya and the Vaishnava Poets
of Bengal. He describes the book Pada-kalpa-taru
(the desire tree of song), a famous compilation of over
3,000 Gaudiya Vaishnava songs from various aacaaryas
and exalted devotees in our line that was compiled in
the 1850s by Shri Gokulananda Sen, a devotee in the
line of Shrila Shrinivas Acharya.

The book Pada-kalpa-taru... takes the reader through
the [songs of] preliminary consecration, invocation, [and
those describing the] introductory ceremonies, [up to the
main body of song describing] the rise and progress of
the mutual love of Radha and Krishna, and winds up
with the usual closing and valedictory hymns.

To keep up the metaphor of its name throughout,
[Pada-kalpa-taru] is divided into four branches (shaakhas),
and each of these into eight or ten smaller branches or
boughs (pallavas). It should be explained that the krtanas
are celebrated with considerable ceremony. There is first
a consecration both of the performers and instruments
with flowers, incense, and sweetmeats. This is called the
adhivaasa. The principal performer then sings one song
after another, the others playing the drum and cymbals in
time and joining in the chorus. As the performance goes
on, many of them get excited and wildly frantic and roll
about on the ground. When the performance is over the
drum is respectfully sprinkled with candana, sandalwood
paste, and hung in its place. Performances go on for days
till a whole shaakha has been sung through, and, I believe,
it is always customary to go through at least one pallava
at a sitting, however long it may be.

The Bengali krtana,in fact, resembles very much the bhajans
and kathaas common in the Maratha country [now the Indian state
of Maharashtra], and each poem, in length and often in
subject as well, is similar to the Abhaangas of Tukaram and
others of that province. The first pallava contains twenty-
seven hymns. Of these, eight are by Govinda Das, eight
by Vaishnava Das, three by Vrindavan Das, and the rest
by minor masters. Vrindavan Das and Parameshwar Das
were contemporaries of Chaitanya. The others, including
Govinda Das perhaps the most voluminous writer of
all are subsequent to him. Of the hymns themselves,
the first five are invocations of Chaitanya and Nityananda,
and one is in praise of the ceremony of krtana.

The twenty-third song begins the adhivaasa, conse-
cration, and is curious less for its language than for the
description it gives of the ceremonies practiced. It is by
the old masters Parameshwar and Vrindavan, with the
concluding portion by a younger master, Bamsi. The
poem is in four parts and takes the form of a story of
how Chaitanya held his festival. It runs thus:

The AdhivAsA CereMony for kirTAnA
The Poets Parameshwar Das and Bamsi Das

"Call the Devotees!""

dhaana-shr raaga
eka dina pahun haasi       advaita-mandire aasi
basilena shacra kumaara
nityaananda kari sange advaita basiyaa range
mahotsavera karilaa vicaara

One day, the son of Mother Sachi happily arrived
at Adwaitas house, accompanied by Nityananda.
While Adwaita sat and listened with pleasure, he
spoke about his plans for a great festival.

shuniyaa aanande aasi              staa thaakuraan haasi
kahilena madhura vacana
taa shuni aananda-mane    mahotsavera vidhaane
kahe kichu shacra nandana
shuna thaakuraani staa       vaishnava aaniye ethaa
aamantrana kariyaa yatane
yebaa gaaya yebaa baaya      aamantrana kari taaya
prithak prithak jane jane

Hearing the plans, Sita Thakurani, the wife of Adwaita,
smiled with joy and spoke sweetly. Listening to her, the son
of Mother Sachi became blissful thinking of the festival and
told her: Listen, Thakurani Sita, invite the vaishnavas and
bring them here. One by one, invite whoever can sing and
whoever can play musical instruments.

eta bali goraa raaya         aajnaa dila sabaakaaya
vaishnava karaha aamantrana
khola karataala laiyaa      aguru candana diyaa
purnaghata karaha sthaapana

In this way, Gaura Ray ordered everyone there, Invite
the vaishnavas! Get out the mridanga and karataalas! Ar-
range for full pots of aguru and sandalwood paste!
aaropana kara kalaa        taahe baandha phula-maalaa

krtana-mandal kutuhale
maalya candana guyaa     ghrita madhu dadhi diyaa
khola-mangala sandhyaakaale

Arrange banana trees around the kirtan hall, and
jubilantly decorate them with garlands of flowers.
At the auspicious time in the evening, worship the
mridanga drum with garlands, sandalwood paste,
betel nuts, ghee, honey and yoghurt.

shuniyaa prabhura kathaa   prte vidhi kaila yathaa
naanaa upahaara gandhabaase
sabe hari hari bole        khola-mangala kare
parameshvara daasa rasa bhaashe

Hearing the Lords words, in a loving way, Sita
made various offerings with fragrant perfumes.
Calling out, Hari! Hari! all the devotees con-
secrated the mridanga drum. Parameshwar Das
floats in the mellows of rasa.

The Adhivasa Ceremony Begins

jaya jaya navadvipa maajha
gauraanga-aadesha paanaa    thaakura advaita yaanaa
kare khola mangalera saaja

All glories! All glories! In Nabadwip, by Gau-
rangas order, Adwaita goes to prepare for the
consecration of the mridanga.

aaniyaa vaishnava saba      hari-bola kalarava
mahotsavera kare adhivaasa
aapane nitaai dhana        dei maalaa candana
kare priya vaishnava sambhaasha

Bringing all the vaishnavas by calling out Hari-
bol! he begins the festival of adhivaasa. He person-
ally gives out garlands and sandalwood paste and
speaks sweet words to the devotees.

govinda mridanga laiyaa    baajaaya taataa thaiyaa thaiyaa
karataale advaita capala
haridaasa kare gaana       shrvaasa dharaye taana
naace gauraa krtana mangala

At the auspicious krtana, Govinda takes the
mridanga and plays, taataa thaiyaa thaiyaa! Adwaita
plays the karataalas, Haridas begins to sing, Shrivas
Thakur keeps time, and Lord Gaura dances.

caudike vaishnava-gana   hari bole ghane ghana
kaali habe krtana-mahotsava
aaji khola mangali raakhiye aananda kari
vamsh bale deha jaya rava

On all sides the vaishnavas repeatedly call out
Haribol! Tomorrow there will be a great festival of
krtana, and today the mridanga has been duly in-
stalled. Bamsi Das joyfully calls out, All glories!

First $250 Portable Zoom Q3 Camera with High Quality Audio and AA bat

Dear Devotees, Nityananda!! Gauranga!! Hare Krishna!! Jaya Shri Guru Parampara! As you may already know that all spiritual realizations depend on how we hear the spiritual sound. Firstly, the sound has to be spiritual and full of realization and secondly the sound should be as clear and sharp as possible in terms of quality to touch our heart effectively. Thus, I would say that the spiritual potency of a spiritual video depends 70% on the audio and 30% on the video iteself. The Zoom company in Japan has finally unveiled an affordable $250 Zoom Q3 camera which can be used by all devotees who want to want to preach the Holy Names to the world by the internet by recording video especially with high quality audio kirtana, bhajans and lectures at home or on on the move or in the Holy Dhaamas. The in-built sound quality of almost all the presently available digicams and camcorders has left a lot to be desired. There is now no need to use a hanging external phantom powered microphone since it is very cumbersome to carry around especially while recording video on the move. After recording your movies in the camera, you can transfer the mp4 files to your computer. For quick sharing, you can compress these videos files for the web by using the free MediaCoder video converter. For best quality, you can use H.264 in MediaCoder for video and Nero Encoder LC-AAC CBR 200 kbps (at least for the audio). We will publish a MediaCoder video tutorial later. If you will need to losslessly and instantly join some mp4 original camera video clips into one before encoding them in MediaCoder, you can use Yamb (it should work but subject to testing). You can upload your final MediaCoder encoded mp4 videos to blip.tv which maintains your original audio and video quality and also to youtube which is the most popular video site on the world but it reduces the quality of your audio (especially) and video. You can then simply paste your blip.tv original video file mp4 link (not the embed code) in a post on NITAAI.com for the best quality or copy and paste the embed code from youtube or blip.tv also.

Zoom Q3 will be available in September 2009 worldwide. You can pre-order is US here and for other countries here. Product description can be found here and here from USA. For the first time now, one can  use this camera to record kirtans and devotional programs in high quality audio while capturing the delicate sounds of the singer and all the musical instruments playing, all without the need to use an external microphone. One can also make high quality audio only recordings at 96 Khz sound. And charging will never be a problem because AA batteries are available everywhere. One can use up to 32GB SDHC cards for a maximum of 16 hours video. This is the first video camera in the world which greatly improves the quality of the audio for the in-built microphones in a video camera and it is only $250. Though it does not have HD 720p video, the 640 by 480 VGA video is recorded by this camera at a high quality of 2 GB for 1 hour which should suffice even for full-screen web video. The Q3 uses the same microphone capsules as our industry-leading H4n Handy Recorder and is perfect for recording anything where great audio and video are a must. With its high-quality, MPEG-4 SP video format at 30 frames per second, the Q3 renders crystal-clear video at 640 x 480 resolution. And the Q3's large, 2.4'' LCD screen with resolution of 320 x 240 makes viewing easy on the go. Its display also includes audio meters so you can quickly set and monitor your levels as you shoot.

The Q3 has two condenser mics on-board, engineered in the same X/Y pattern as H4n Handy Recorder that gives recording pros the best stereo recording possible. Arranged with the right and left mics on the same axis, this design ensures that the mics are always an equal distance from the sound source for perfect localization without phase shifting. The result is a great sounding recording with natural depth and highly accurate stereo imaging every time... all at the touch of a button.

The Q3's X/Y microphones are directional, so you can ''focus'' the mics on your sound source like an ''audio zoom'' function. Use the onboard audio meters to set the gain to Low, High or Auto so you can record in very loud or very soft environments. Or use the Q3's Auto Record Level function to automatically set the appropriate recording levels for the situation! Shoot your video with the confidence that the Q3 is capturing great audio at the absolute best level possible.
