Hare in the Mahamantra
Nityananda! Gauranga! Hare Krishna! Jaya Shri Guru Parampara! Pranams! I had a wonderful realization today while singing the Hare Krishna Mahamantra. We find the Holy Name of Radha in the form of Hare intricately entwined eight times with the Holy Names of Krishna and Raama in the Hare Krishna Mahamantra. One reason for this is because the all-attractive Krishna and Radha's enjoyer Raama is so enchanted and attracted to Shrimati Radhika that He does not desire to be separated from the Holy Name of Radha. Thus, Her Name is always expertly surrounding His Name in the Hare Krishna Mahamantra as if in a divine embrace of Shri Shri Radha Krishna.
Daaso'smi, Swami Gaurangapada.
