Re: Euthanize of pet question

Actually it not so good to get involved in another souls krama.

Meaning if you have to pick the dog up to do his business etc. then the dog must be over weight and needs exercise, as you mentioned the dog is old so you need to feed it less, then the weight would not be a problem.

We all know the story of King Bharat who was attached to a young deer, and took birth in his next life as a deer, so we have to be careful to ideally minimize these kind of attachments.

Dont get involve in another soul karma meaning  we become implicated in the reaction good or bad.

Vaisnavas generally don't desire to have pets, Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu had a puppie but his mother sent it away,

another time one dog followed the devotees to Puri Dhaam Gauranga fed the dog then dog left its body.

Vaisnavas always have a soft heart when they see a soul suffering, but if you read Bhagavad Gita  and realize Gita then should not be affected by these things.

We should minimize our attachments in this material world so that we can easily dedicate our life 100% to serve Sri Guru Gauranga.

Alway seeking the mercy of Sri Guru Gauranga and the vaisnavas
