Re: Restrictions on Pancha-tattva mantra


Nityaananda! Gauraanga! Hare Krishna! Since there is no precedent in the lives of our previous Acharyas and Associates of Lord Gaura that the Pancha Tattva Mantra has been specifically chanted as japa on Tulasi beads, Shrila Prabhupada did not recommend it. But the 4-syllable Gaura Gopaala Mantra "Gauraanga" has been chanted on beads by great Rasika Acharyas like Shrila Shivaananda Sena so it is fully authorized.
