Concealed Names

All glories to Swami Gaurangapada!

In Narada Purana we can find following verse:

aham eva dvija-shreshtho
nityam pracchanna-vigrahah
bhagavad-bhakta-rupena
lokam rakshami sarvada

"My true identity always concealed, I will assume the form of a brahmana devotee of the Lord. In this form I will deliver the worlds."

Just as true identity of Lord Gauranga was concealed, true identity or glories of His Own Names are also concealed, hidden. This is part of His Lila. Nitaai and Gaura Naam are most intimate Names of Lord, because they are His Most inner, condensed, blissful Names referring to His Gaura Lila, in His role of devotee, while He is relishing Radha-bhava. It is most intimate. Therefore, His Name Gauranga is most confidential and such things are naturally hidden, concealed.We all are keeping our intimate feelings confidential, not telling to everyone, or only to closest friends. Nitaai and Gaura Naam are most intimate Names of Lord.Therefore They are greatest mystery. Lord is saying that in this form He will deliver the worlds - lokam rakshami sarvada.
