Re: Material Distress

Dear sir you mentioned you are in distress actually everyone is suffering at every moment. I see you mention in the Sri Bhagavat Gita about four kinds of such people come to krsna consciousness.

   But many people who have a death in the family or friends take shelter of God
People who lose their job take shelter of God
Husbands and wives when their relationship take to God.
People who lose money take to God.
People in prison take to God.

But most of these people never continue with their pledge to serve God forever, they soon lose their suffering mind, and continue with their material life.

However for the sincere seeker there is hope if you study Sri Gita more;

Here are some verses which may be helpful.


tad viddhi pranipatena / pariprashnena sevaya
upadekshyanti te jnanam / jnaninas tattva-darshinah

Find a bona fide Guru and receive initiation from him and serve him with you life and soul.

sarva-dharman parityajya / mam ekam shara�am vraja
aham tvam sarva-papebhyo / mokshayishyami ma shucah

Lord Krsna said surrender unto Him.

yat karoshi yad ashnasi / yaj juhoshi dadasi yat
yat tapasyasi kaunteya / tat kurushva mad-arpanam

All that you do; all that you eat you do it for Krsna

mac-citta mad-gata-prana / bodhayantah parasparam
kathayantash ca mam nityam / tushyanti ca ramanti ca


man-mana bhava mad-bhakto / mad-yaji mam namaskuru
mam evaishyasi yuktvaivam / atmanam mat-paraya�ah

mac-citta mad-gata-prana / bodhayantah parasparam
kathayantash ca mam nityam / tushyanti ca ramanti ca

mac-citta mad-gata-prana / bodhayantah parasparam
kathayantash ca mam nityam / tushyanti ca ramanti ca

You offer you Dandavat Pranams to Lord Krsna at every moment
After all He is in your heart.

patram pushpam phalam toyam / yo me bhaktya prayacchati
tad aham bhakty-upahritam / ashnami prayatatmanah

Simple service offer Me fruits, water, vegetables. Offer yourself yourself to Him.
After all He can see if you are sincere; so dont try and cheat Him.
Otherwise He will cheat you of pure devotion


Its very hard to find bhakti in Sri Bhagavad Gita, thats why it is importain
to find a bona fide Guru to guide you.


Lets move on a little. Its very hard to take shelter of Lord Krsna without the mercy of Srimati Radhanai.

But in this iron age those with a little faith will take shelter of Sri Sri  Nitai Gauranga; by their mercy alone
we with get the mercy of Sri Radha and  Krsna.

Dont run after Lord Krsna otherwise it will take you many millions of life times to
get the mercy of Lord Krsna with out the help and mercy of Sri Guru Gauranga.

may Sri Guru Gauranga and the  vaisnavas bless me and over look the mistakes
in my foolish writings.
