Burden of material activities
become intolerable
but alas,
I have no strength to abandon them.

Relatives and friends constantly
criticize me for not fullfiling their endless desires,
but alas,
I have no strength to ignore them.

Poison of worldly association
is pushing me toward hell,
and I am trapped in prison of crazy mind.

O Lord,
for how long will you keep me under this punishment?
Please hear my cry,
O Gopal,
let me dive into Your Naam
