Becoming authentic

Nityananda! Gauranga! Hare Krishna!

We have to become authentic in our devotional life. Our approach towards Lord Gaura-Krishna has to sproat out of a transparent inspiration of the heart. Because Bhakti comes from Bhakti. No externals can factually awaken loving devotion in ourselves. Bhakti is a sublime divine thread which can appear and pass by from any side. This thread comes from Guru-Sadhu-Shastra. We have to be always alert as not to miss the chance of a divine inspiration. For this we should be always true to and conscious about our heart, our being, our personal approach to the Lord and His Holy Names. No boundaries are set for our life's expression of devotion and love towards the Lord and His Devotees. It is all very individual. Only barrier may be our self-deceptive tendency. As Shrila Shridhara Maharaja use to say: "No one can deceive You, unless You deceive Yourself."
