Re: Pilgimage in Bombay
Nityaananda! Gauraanga! Hare Krishna!
The Deities in the Gaudiya Mission Mumbai was installed with the help of our Shrila Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada when he was a householder. Gaudiya Mission has a nice system of singing the Vaishnava songs of the Acharyas and Shrila Bhaktivinoda Thakura in the morning and evening for a few hours. I do not know if they follow this system in all their temples.
Sri Gaudiya Math Gandhinagar, Bandra( East ) Mumbai - 400051
The Deities of Lords Jagannatha and Baladeva and Shrimati Subhadra, which are taken on Mumbai Ratha Yatra can be seen in the ISKCON Mira Road temple.
Sri Sri Radhagiridhari Temple, Bhaktivedanta Marg, Shristi-1, Mira Road, Thane 401107.
The Bhaktivedanta Book Trust India (one of the biggest in the world), which publishes Shrila Swami Prabhupada's books in many languages can be seen either in Juhu or Mira Road (I do not know whether the location has changed).
There is one more temple in Vashi of another Gaudiya Branch. I will add the details later in this post if I find them.
Note: This is for information and not a recommendation. I do not know about the quality of association found at these temples and about their respective policies for devotees from other Sarasvata groups but one can certainly have Darshana of the Deities. Mostly it may be focused in an institutional form or within their group. Also I do not know whether any of them accept or at least respect the chanting of the Nityaananda and Gauraanga Mantraraajas along with the Hare Krishna Mahaamantra. Chaitanya Math devotees are warm and respectful to devotees from any Sarasvata branch but Chaitanya Math does not have a center in Mumbai.
Daaso'smi, BRS Swami Gaurangapada.
