Re: Chanting more than one mantra on our beads...

Dear Thomas, Welcome to NITAAI.com. Thank you for your kind words about our site. It is normally the system that a disciple receives the mala at the time of initiation after Gurudeva chants on it. If one is receiving all the three Mantras from the same Guru, then the Guru can chant the three Mantras on the same rosary. There is no hard and fast rule against that in the scriptures. Both Lords Nitaai Gaura and Lords Balaraama Krishna are the same Supreme Personalities of Godhead and are totally non-different so Their Names can be chanted on the same Tulasi mala. One may not chant the Mantras of other lower Vishnu Tattvas on the same Tulasi mala as that of the Supreme Lords Krishna or Gaura but Krishna and Gaura are fully non-different and Their Holy Names are too. Also, in the case that one is receiving different Mantras from different Gurus (which is allowed in the scriptures), one will have to chant Them on different malas received from those respective Gurus. I hope this helps. Nityaananda! Gauraanga! Hare Krishna! Pranaams.

Daaso'smi, BR Sadhu Swami Gaurangapada.
