Krishna: Incarnation of Vishnu?

Dear Swami Gaurangapada Maharaja and assembled Devotees,
Nityananda! Gauranga! Hare Krishna! Please accept my humble obeisances.

i have a doubt i would like to place at Your Holy Feet for clarification: As far as i could understand, Lord Gaura Krishna is the Original Supreme Personality of Godheat, out of whom all His Other Forms expands, including Lord Vishnu. If this is the fact, then why is Lord Krishna listed among the Ten Incarnations of Lord Vishnu? What is the connection between Lord Vishnu and Lord's Avataras?

Please enlighten me.
