Dear prabhus,
I agee with your viewpoint and what you said is certainly true.  Sadly though I am not a pure bhakta as of this moment, and I tried very hard to give up all my material desires, but I found that I was too weak living in this passionate society. It is very good to strive for pure devotional service and give up all material desires but for me I do still have flickering material desires. I"ll achieve success eventually though I believe.
