Question on Satyarth Prakash
Nityananda, Gauranga, Hare Krishna.
Jaya Guru Parampara, Jaya Swamiji Gaurangapada.
I saw a short introduction to a book (name withheld), and I've learned that the author used the Vedas to write that book. In this book, there are many things I use in daily life, like
- Misery is what you get when longing for things you'd want or don't have
- Be happy with what you have
- Expect nothing from others, as expectations lead to disappointments
- Accept and carry your grief, but smile at life - self-pity doesn't lead to anything
- Be simple, humble and well-balanced for leading a happy life
- Dedicate all your actions to God
and so on, but although the book talks about the Names of God (AUM), this book doesn't say anything about Lord Nityananda, nor Lord Gauranga.
Although the book offers great teachings, how are we to look upon these teachings? Can his insights be used to find a way to Their Lordships and see the real light of Truth by receiving Their Mercy?
Damodara Svarupa dasa.
