Questions about Rama Navami

Dear Swami Gaurangapada,

I was wondering if is it necessary  to fast on Rama Navami which for me is tomorrow? Is it absolutely imperative to follow all these fasts days?
I know that we must observe the Ekadasi fasts, Nitai and Gaura and Krishna and Balarama appearance days, but  must we fast on days of incarnations that we do not directly worship?  It is not out of disrespect to Lord Rama that I ask, I just was wondering how much leniency on this subject we are allowed to have since it is Kali Yuga and many off us live away from temples and have to work like an average karmi and so therefore cannot cut our calorie intake much the day before or after the fast due to too much physical activity.
