Re: Spiritual master, initiation and reactions
1. Is spiritual master protected from such reaction if his students/disciples are chanting Nityananda and Gauranga Names?
Certainly, that is the whole point. Both Guru and Disciple are protected by chanting Nityaananda Gauraanga Naama along with the Hare Krishna Mahaamantra. Naamaparaadhaan sakalam vinaashya...
2. Does this description means that for many persons it is better to stay un-innitiated, because according to this verse it will save them and guru from disaster.
No, it means that it will become easier for the Guru to give initiation and the Disciple to accept initiation if both of them are chanting the Nityaananda and Gauraanga Mantraraajas along with the Hare Krishna Mahaamnatra. Remaning uninitiated in not the solution.
3. How we may properly understand that in various lineages/vaisnava communities initiations are widely given. We can practically see that many persons come, many are go away, and only few are staying fixed and determined to practice bhakti-yoga for whole life. Is there some possible danger for taking/giving initiations widely and easily to almost everyone or it is manifestation of audarya, mercy?
Yes, it is described that the Guru should not accept two many (excessive number of) disciples unless he or she is very advanced. But by causeless mercy of Nityaananda Gauraanga Naama, the Guru can make his disciples very quickly qualified to chant the Hare Krishna Mahaamantra offenselessly. Nityaananda Gauraanga Naama are especially very helpful when the practicing devotees gets attacked by Maya or illusion. Those who chant only the Hare Krishna Mahaamantra may have an easier tendency to easily give up the process and become fully overwhelmed by Maya due to the stringent nature of the ten offenses in the chanting of the Hare Krishna Mahaamantra.
But Lord Nityaananda's Name is the unbelievably maganimous and surprisingly protects the devotee from fully falling down even at the lowest stage in one's spiritual practice. Lords Nitaai Gaura are exceptionally merciful and have come to protect us even during our most fallen abominable condition in life. They don't give up hope on us so easily since They have no conditions. They always give us hope in the most hopeless situation. They are our hope against all hope.
Daaso'smi, Swami Gaurangapada.
