Only responsibility in life

Nityananda! Gauranga! Hare Krishna!

Our only responsibility in life is to develop the proper desire. Lord Gaura-Krishna doesn't want us to give up this responsibility, but to learn to assume and apply it in the proper way, which is most beneficial for our own self. To give up this responsibility in the name of surrender is self-defeating. We have to be sincere to ourself and learn step by step what is really worthy wishing for.
